Dr. Chris Alan Cornett, MD

Haven't seen Dr. Cornett yet, but when calling for appointment needed to give all information before they could enter into system. She called herself a scheduler, very rude, threatened twice to end call because I was too slow to get the information she was asking for.

Doc is awesome and knows his stuff! Staff is great too! Highly recommend him...saved my leg and gave me no pain! Love him!!

It has been three years since Dr. Cornett did my back surgery with a fusion of L4/L5. I couldn't be more thankful and happy with my outcome. Dr. Cornett is such a caring physician and is truly an expert in his field of medicine and surgery. The quality of my life is so much better. I am most appreciative for all that Dr. Cornett, Dr. Grossman,(who was a resident at that time), Angela, the clinic staff, surgery team and the hospital care I received at Nebraska Medicine. He is the best of the best. Other drs go to him, that pretty much says it all!

My 17 year old son was referred to Dr. Cornett, who diagnosed him with an osteoid osteoma in his L3 after many misdiagnosis from other physicians. Dr. Cornett is extremely caring and takes the time to explain everything in a manner that you can understand and will spend as much time answering questions as needs be. Dr. Cornett successfully removed my son's tumor and his diagnosis was spot on. I highly recommend Dr.Cornett and his staff.

total waste of money, as drove there took longer to drive and find a parking spot. took x-rays, when i had my last 2 mri's and don't think he even looked at them, told me that he could see no real problems with my back. have 2 degeneration disc in lower back. can hardly walk sometimes and then shooting pain down leg and 5 bulging disc between shoulders. wast of time and money. kinda like NSH.

took longer to find a parking spot in garage, go into clinic find his office and have x-rays taken. took my own mri's with me, but do not think he even looked at them. saw him for total of 3 min at most telling me to keep exercising and pt. i have degeneration of disc, not muscle problems. total waste of my time to get there for nothing

Dr Cornett performed an extensive spine surgery lasting over 8 hours wherein he removed several vertebrae. it required an approach from both the front and the back. in their place he put in rods, pins and a cage. the result was amazing. Dr. Cornett is an excellent surgeon! he is a great doc who takes the time to listen and explains things in a way you can understand. in the hospital both pre-op and post-op when he was talking to me his focus and attention was completely on me. I would not want to have spine surgery again; but if I had to have spine surgery, I would not hesitate to do so if Dr. Cornett is my surgeon. So, if you ever need spine surgery, this is your guy!

He seemed to have little interest in treating my son who suffers chronic back pain from his scoliosis. He glanced at the x-rays, recommended PT, and was simply going to leave us without asking if we had any questions. I stopped him in time to state that we did have questions and concerns, and he seemed a little annoyed, but he took a seat and made a show of listening. He offered no help in regards to writing a work-restrictions letter for his employer, exploring disability options, or offering suggestions on pain relief. He never lifted a finger to actually examine my son, to physically look at his back or have him perform any maneuvers to localize the source of his pain. He offered no hope that a source even COULD be found. He had no interest in helping my son at all. I count ourselves fortunate that he could give us a name of a PT specialist to see, and we hope that she is more effective than he was.

Wonderful doctor and surgeon! He did my L4/L5 fusion and recovery was well-monitored by him and his staff.
