From the moment I met Dr. Larson I was impressed. Extremely intelligent, listened to every concern, explained things in detail, always verified that I completely understood, genuine care, confident but never arrogant. He was a welcomed breath of fresh air. These Characteristics have never wavered through my entire experience. I am now post op and immideatly feel I have a whole new beginning ahead of me. I genuinely feel like I was given the greatest care by Dr. Larson, all of Iowa Ortho and Mercy West staff. I am forever grateful for the professionalism and pure kindness Dr. Larson and these incredible people have shown. Thank you for sharing your gift of healing and letting me be a recipient.

Dr. Larson (& staff) were extremely professional & friendly. Dr. Larson was very thorough in his assessment. Not only did he assess the immediate issue, but chronic as well. Expectations were clear, and our treatment plan was more than expected. Great visit.

I was very nervous about my hip replacement but was very comfortable with Dr Larson . He explained everything to me and my outcome is fantastic! I would definitely refer him to any member of my family!

Dr Larson was prompt, kind, thorough, presented options, and I really felt like he listened to my concerns. We made a plan (in terms i could understand... not all doctors do that) and I can already tell a difference in the pain I had been feeling. I'm grateful for Dr Larson and his wonderful nurse, plus the front staff at the Johnston location. They are all professional but gracious, funny, and put me at ease. Definitely two thumbs up if you need ortho care.
