Very easy to talk to, wants to be sure you have all the information. Seems very thorough.

Dr. Matthes is an OUTSTANDING surgeon and physician!! He is compassionate with his patients and explains everything clearly and completely. After surgery, he will go through a thorough assessment of how everything went. I had a total hip replacement, and after spending only one night in the hospital I was released to go home. I have pain after only 3 days, but it’s getting better every day. Dr. Matthes has a great bedside manner. I recommend him highly!

This is my third time with Dr Matthes. He did both knees in 2011/right hip in 2015 and yesterday did my left hip. To say that I have had and still have TOTAL CONFIDENCE in Dr Matthes skills and abilities is an understatement. All three experiences were nothing but positive from initial assessment to surgeries.
