Dr. Wetzel did nothing for my ongoing symptoms of joint pain, swelling and pain in hands even after asking him to please do something to help my symptoms. Finally when I couldn’t put up with them he order a Lymes test saying he didn’t think it would be positive. Test came back positive for 7 bands out of 10!! Diagnosed with Chronic Lymes Disease. Please get a Dr . who will listen and take you seriously. When you are hurting, you know your body better than you!!

Dr. Wetzel , Is a wonderful Dr. He his very compassionate, takes his time with his patients, If he is running behind schedule I don't mind waiting a few extra minutes, I know he will take time for me as well. I highly recommend him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wetzel's for a number of years now, starting when I lived in Gettysburg. I have since moved to Harrisburg, then more recently to York County. I will continue to make the trek to see Dr. Wetzel and his staff due to how wonderful my experiences have been over the years.

DR. Wetzel is the most competent family DR. I have ever had. My wife & I are so grateful that he is our Dr. His Diagnostic skill is amazing.

If you want misdiagnosed or not diagnosed, then hes your man

Me and my family have been going to Dr Wetzel since he started his practice. At first he was wonderful. I would have said the best Doctor around. For the past two years our care has suffered. My family has had to go to urgent care so many times because it takes over a week to get to see him, and this is with pain, extreme pain, fevers, flu like symptoms urgent needs. He use to be so caring and attentive. Now I have to take care of myself. I have to remind him I need a mamogram, I have osteopenia and need a bone density every two years, I haven't had one in 5 years, I am 53 years old and he says I need a colonoscopy which I have yet to have, billing issues, getting the office to call in refills on meds is ridiculous, the list goes on and on. I have NEVER had a Doctor make me feel so NOT important in my life. So sad I have to start over with a new family physician.

Does not know medicine. GIves the wrong meds.

Very caring physician. Takes the time to get to know you. Doesn't order unnecessary tests or over prescribe. Treats the whole person. Sees his own patients when they are hospitalized. He is an example of what family doctor should be, not of what they have evolved into during the past 20 years.
