Dr. Christian P. Dipaola

Dr. Dipaola was the only physician, after years of seeing multiple specialists, who actually listened and looked deeper instead of dismissing my severe pain as “just degenerative disc disease.” He spotted subtle signs on imaging that everyone else missed and correctly diagnosed a spinal fracture that needed surgical stabilization. He performed a spinal fusion with screws and plates, and the entire process was flawless — zero complications, no infections, no hardware issues. His explanations were clear, his bedside manner calm and confident, and the surgical team was outstanding. I was fully cleared and back to normal activity in just 5 months with no lingering pain or restrictions. I honestly credit him with giving me my life back. If you have chronic back pain that no one else can figure out, Dr. Dipaola is the doctor you want on your side. Highly recommend without reservation.

Dr. Dipaola was fairly arrogant and gave us a feeling that we were wasting his time. He criticized how another provider did a test he ordered, going on and on. Left with vague information. Definitely time for a second opinion, will not go back to him.

Had surgery in Aug. 2018 and have never been ok. Went to neurosurgeon in Boston for second opinion and having surgery abdominally to fix the mess I am in since seeing Dr. Dipaolo!

Performed spine surgery on me Aug. 2018. I have never been the same! I am worse after surgery!!!!! I would ask as many questions as possible before allowing him to touch me. Do not allow anyone to touch you without a promise!!!!!

I've been a patient of Dr. Dipaola for several years. He's always super nice, takes the time to listen and always gives me the impression that he really wants to help. Never pushed surgery on me and always helped me decide what the best treatment plan is. He's funny and keeps it real.

Explain clearly what was wrong and how to fix it

Prior to my first visit with Dr.DiPaola beside being in pain I had reached the point I couldn't stand up straight or walk any distance without severe pain. During my visit he explained I would be in for a very involved back surgery. He said after I would be in a back brace. He told me it would take about a year to be back to my old self. Thanks to Dr. DiPaola I feel like a new person. No pain, stand up straight and can now walk with ease. I'm so grateful for Dr. DiPaola I don't believe I could have found a better doctor.

Dr DiPaola always takes the time to listen to what's going on, he is very thorough and makes you feel at ease. He walks you through the process and never rushes through a visit. He is courteous and kind. I would recommend him to anyone seeking an ortho doc!

My struggles with going to the ER. Seeing my primary with severe arm pain with not answer to why this was happening all came to an end the day I saw Dr. Dipaola. He immediately was able to pinpoint what was happening and where it was coming from..although I needed surgery and I was nervous , he made me feel comfortable prior to surgery and especially the morning of, he sat with me and showed compassion. I was also very happy with Barbara Corcoran as well she was very pleasant to speak with and never made me feel like a bother, making appointments with ease and relaying messages was never an issue.. I highly recomend using Dr. Dipaola and would not hesitate to use him again, I trust his word and his ability to do the surgery is second to none.. My left arm pain today is gone and I'm on the path to better days, so thank you Dr Dipaola and Barbara you were great!!
