My sinus surgery went great!!!

I saw Dr. C. Hall for muscle weakness in my foot. Prior to seeing him, I had X-rays taken, but he came in and didn't even look at them or discuss them with me. His opening words after his introduction were borderline condescending; the ROM test was brief and his conclusion was a muscle dysfunction. He wouldn't explain to me why or what causes the problem, all he said was I needed an EMG. I expressed my reservations about the test (bad experience with electric shock as a child) and he simply said either do the test or ride it out and test my luck. For comfort's sake, I asked him if there were any common causes besides disc herniation or spinal issues and he relied with a "too many to name" spiel. But he made sure I was aware that this is a highly unusual problem for someone my age. Gee, thanks, Doc. Glad to know it's unusual, sure would be nice to know what MIGHT have caused it, so that EMG test wouldn't be for naught. Ya know, as a 20-something, insurance is hard to afford… as it is and I wholly expect to get my dollar's worth out of doctor's visits and receive exceptional care from a private physician. What I got was nothing more than what a Google search could tell me. I expected more from a professional, especially one who specializes in such a crucial area of medicine that's essential for mobility. If the physiatrist who's doing the EMG can't help me after the exam and tries to send be cal to Dr. hall, I'm ordering my results and going elsewhere.

Dr Hall is a wonderful doctor who shows full care and concern in his patients. He has wonderful nurses that always make my visit very pleasant.

I had severe vertigo on my first visit. He asks what happened, I started explaining and he interrupted after 20 seconds and said he didn't need to listen and he was going to ask me some questions. Actual time face to face 4minutes! He scheduled me to go back in 14 days to have a test done that cost me $900. I asked what should I do meanwhile as I have to go back to work. His rude response was "Sorry, that is not my problem" There was a $75 no show up fee so I decided to go back after 12 days and have the test done, hoping that his attitude would be better the second time and it was covered by my insurance plan anyways. He charges $70 to read the results! He told me I am fine and that I need to see a neurologist. Moreover, he said he wants me to schedule another appointment in three weeks to tell him what the neurologist said. Does he actually think I am going to spend another $70 to tell him when he should follow up with neurologist he is referring me to himself. You should… not expect to have face to face contact with this doctor for more than 5min. Rude, does not care what your symptoms are, arrogant.
