Dr. Christian Norman Ramsey III, MD

I do not know if Dr Ramsey is a good surgeon. BUT he is just about the worst communicator ever. Very impatient. Did not explain. Did not fully answer questions. Bad communication makes him a bad doctor. I'm going to make an appointment with another to have that doctor explain what was done. why, what I should and should not do. Make recommendations and explain everything. I assume Dr Ramsey performed the surgery adequately.

I had a microdiscectomy performed by Dr. Ramsey this morning. I can say, I’ve gotten immediate relief from the pain in my leg and my right lower back. Dr. Ramsey is a very diligent and compassionate doctor. He explained everything clearly, risks versus reward. We decided to go forward with the surgery, and I couldn’t be happier. Dr. Ramsey is very talented at his art, a very good surgeon. Also, I’d like to thank the team at Baptist health for their professionalism and efforts to make me comfortable during this surgery. I gave Dr. Ramsey five stars because he deserves them, I would’ve given him 10 stars if it was available.

5 years after Dr Ramsey done my craniectomy, I had another visit with him. He asked me if I was glad to still be alive and I have to say that I am. All my thanks to God and Dr Ramsey. Would definitely, and happily, recommend him

Best surgeon. I have known Dr Ramsey for 12 years. He just did a acdf 6-7 on me and the surgery couldn't have been better. I would have expected more pain after surgery but honestly I believe getting a finger surgery would have been worse. He made a very small anterior incision and I anticipate very little scarring from how well he put it back together. I find him very easy to talk to. He is just like I am, straight forward and blunt. He will listen and discuss any options that I have had. He is always available along with his staff. He will be doing a c 5-6 artificial disc replacement within the next month. I wouldn't want any other neurosurgeon operating on me. I consider him a friend and trust him on making the right decision for the care that I need. He is intelligent and is always thinking. He also isn't a doctor to hand out pain medicines for no reason. I am very much looking forward to my disc replacement and glad that we did the one level fusion. As long as a neurosurgeon is… needed in my family, we will all see Dr. Ramsey. Thanks, Cameron

He is very professional and caring. He always asks me if I understand what he was saying and always asks my thoughts and opinions about what he is saying/doing. The visits are never rushed as he takes time letting me know what I need to know whether he has to explain it one time or 10 times. I never feel like he is pushing me away. His bedside manner is absolutely amazing and I always feel very satisfied after every visit and procedure.

Dr Ramsey performed surgery on my cervical spine and the outcome was amazing. I thought I would have permanent deficits but am very happy with the results. I was at first leery of him due to him looking so young, but he is very knowledgeable and caring, has a great bedside manner, and knows what he is doing. I am now having issues with my lumbar spine and am hoping to get in to see him for this as well.

this doctor saved my life. he performed a life saving surgery on me and not only did he perform the surgery but he personally followed my progress and his staff that provided my follow up care treats me like family.
