Dr. Christian Verry

I had a horrendous experience with Dr. Verry a few years ago and I think of it every now and then wondering if it was something I did or said to deserve the treatment I received. Needless to say it looks like I have plenty of company among those treated like rubbish by this person. He also let a grad student in the room when I asked not, lacked bedside manner and just general manners- to an extreme I had never before and have never since experienced. He belittled my symptoms and history and prescribed an anti depressant for a mechanical injury...…..nothing else was offered. He just thought I wasn't dealing with the injury well... I was speechless. I am a healthcare provider myself and have never encountered such an unapologetically unprofessional and unqualified individual. I do hope he reads his reviews and makes an enormous change in attitude or career.

Saw Dr Verry for my right knee issues in hopes I could maybe go to PT and strengthen it. He twisted pulled pushed and squeezed on my knee with way too much pressure in my opinion. He gave me a cortisone shot exrayed it and I left there in a whole lot more pain than I came in with. Will not go back to him.

He is a very bright guy; knows his stuff. He appropriately pushes responsibility on the patient.

Best doc! He actually takes his time and shows he cares. I would definitely recommend Dr. Verry.

Extremely rude and lacked basic knowledge. Very judgmental and used I appropriate language. Did not seem to care about patients - does not possess any of the communication, social, or psychological skills needed to be a doctor

I've been seeing Dr. Verry for nearly a year now and have had few if any bad experiences. There have been a couple of times I needed quick appointments and they always accommodate me. It's the most efficient office I've ever been in and the longest wait I've had is about 20 mins. The only negative is the office can sometimes be a bit difficult to make a connection by phone. The folks involved with the lab/blood tests are particularly interested and helpful.

Dr. Verry is "verry" pathetic to say the least avoid him at all cost!

My three appointments with "Dr." (Doesn't derserve the title) Verry were the worst medical encounters of my life. I went in for a simple physical for a new job and he couldn't even handle that. He was extremely disrespectful, condescending, presumptive, inappropriate, and incompetent. He had to look up on his phone how to order a blood test. I'm not assuming this-he actually confirmed that was what he was doing. And on top of that he didn't order the right ones and I had to come back, and let me tell you how I discovered this... When I came back to pick up my forms I was told "there was a problem with your blood test". They wouldn't tell me what for the hour I waited for him to get back from lunch! So this whole time I was scared they had found a pathology but really the problem was he just didn't order the right test and had to repeat! I was infuriated ! I, too, refused to have a student in the room (like mentioned in another comment) and again he sent the student in… anyway. But I held my ground and told the student to leave. I told the doctor I was disappointed with how he handled the appointment and his response was "well you don't seem to be handling this well either". He's a petulant child. Thank goodness I didn't need any actual treatment from him. I can't even imagine how horrible that would've been. And for the record, I've been going to SluCare for 20 years and never had a negative experience. They need to get rid of this guy before he costs someone their health and the hospital a lawsuit.

If you are looking for a caring doctor, do NOT go to Dr. Verry. When you have a lot of medical problems, his answer is exercise. His bedside manner is terrible. He looks at you like your making everything up.

Didn't seem to care at all about patient, also allowed a grad student into the room to observe even after refusal by patient. Overall awful experience, such a shame and waste of several months trying to figure out what ended up being a respiratory infection.
