Dr. Christian P Westermann, MD

I’m not sure what happened, but he originally a great doctor. He completely changed into an arrogant- incompetent doctor

As a long time patient, it was very hard for me to write this. I trusted Dr. Westermann for over 20 years with my healthcare & even recommended him to friends & family. I don't know what's happened, but he seems like he's more concerned with money than his patients. I went for my annual exam & left with appointments for nonsense testing. I know this because I went for 2 separate opinions & neither doctor found the "problems" found by Dr. Westermann. While I was waiting, 2 other patients had to make appointments for testing, too. I will not be going back to him...

I went to Dr. Westermann to get my annual STD testing as every health conscious, sexually active woman should- & I wanted to get tested for HIV and syphilis as well since they aren’t included in the basic panel. He actually DISCOURAGED me from getting both because syphilis is basically "eradicated" (his exact words) and after asking me questions about my sex life (how many people I sleep with/do I use IV drugs), he also discouraged me from getting HIV tested. He was also condescending and dismissive of me when I raised very realistic concerns about birth control options & their side effects.. such as blood clots (I know two women who had strokes from their BC). Educate yourself Dr. Westermann- and don’t discourage patients from taking care of their health when they want to get HIV tested.i In case you weren’t aware, it only takes one sexual encounter to cotract an STI. he lost several of my test results, would not do new tests, never made notes in charts, refused to write me prescriptions, only prescribed birth control I did not agree to using... please do not go to him. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone

Rude, incompetent, inconsiderate

I was a patient of Dr Westermanns about 17 years ago. Never had a problem with him or his staff. I was told to come in to pick up a prescription at his office and two weeks later received a bill for an office visit. All I did was walk in and get the prescription. Unbelievable. Well I switched my ob/gyn the next day. Also when he came in for my exam he would be rushed and I was unable to ask questions or voice any concerns I had. Very RUDE

I have been going to Dr. Westermann for a really long time and I just think he is the best!! I usually do not wait long, the staff is top notch, the office is clean and nice, and he always takes the time to talk to me and answer my questions. He is one of my favorite doctors hands-down!!

I have on multiple occasions sat half naked in the cold exam room for 45 minutes to an hour in the linen dress they make you change into when they say, "The doctor will be in in a few minutes."
