Bio:

Tiana Barker is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with deep expertise in type 2 diabetes, chronic kidney disease, weight management, and sports nutrition. As a Certified Qualified Bilingual Provider in Spanish and a trained National Diabetes Prevention Program Lifestyle Coach, she brings both clinical skill and an approachable, patient centered style to her work. She believes every food can fit, balance matters, movement at any pace is valuable, and meal timing plays a meaningful role in overall health.

A Utah native, Tiana earned her bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and Nutrition from …BYU before completing her dietetic internship and master’s degree at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She loves supporting high school athletes through “Team Talks,” and you may catch her on TV or other media sharing practical, evidence based nutrition insights. Above all, she focuses on what matters most to each patient, helping them build confidence and sustainable habits.

Outside the clinic, Tiana enjoys singing, dancing, acting, cooking, baking, hiking, and cheering through college football season. She’s married to her biggest supporter, Justin, and together they adore their little boy, who is the light of their lives.
