Dr. Christie Mina is a physician who recently joined the Spine Program at Pelham Medical Center. Dr. Mina's interest in neurosurgery began when she was in college, and she fell in love with it after shadowing a local neurosurgeon. She believes that caring is the most important aspect of treating patients and that good communication is essential. Dr. Mina is a board-certified neurological surgeon who performs spinal surgeries with a focus on minimally invasive techniques. She enjoys the diversity of procedures and approaches that the spine offers. Dr. Mina has a loyal patient base, with some families having multiple members who have received treatment from her. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking and reading science fiction novels.

Do Christie Mina has been my lifeline after 2004 & 2011 back surgeries and a upcoming 2020 back surgery. She's warm, friendly, thorough and comforting. My life always returns to normal and pain free after my surgeries. Wouldn't want anyone else doing my surgeries. Thank you so much Dr Mina

How refreshing to have a Doctor Who was willing to take the time, and had the time, to sit down w/me and listen!!! I was very impressed with her and loved the fact that I got this follow-up survey especially the fact that it came to me via text due to its convenience!

Dr. Mina is clearly very skilled and knowledgeable, but she also took the time to listen to me with empathy and compassion. She gave me sound advice and never made me feel silly for the questions I asked or the concerns I voiced. I felt very confident that I was receiving top notch care with her.

Dr. Mina is my superhero! Her diagnosis and treatment of my neck pain was spot on. Surgery did the trick! No more neck pain. Dr. Mina’s bedside manner is the best ever! She is a good listener and displays caring and love for her patients.
