Dr. Christina Isabel Braun, MD

n early March, I had an eye infection and Dr. Braun's office gave me a same day appt at 3:50pm. I was not seen until after 5pm. The dr explained that I didn't have an 'established' appt because it was same day and the scheduler should've made that clear. Today I had an 'established' 10:40am follow-up appt. The infection hadn't cleared up and I was leaving for vacation so the appt was important to me. I was taken to the exam room at 11am. For the next hour, the staff played musical exam rooms with me, said they were playing catch-up from a busy am, promising that I was next. Meanwhile, I heard patients (who clearly arrived after me since I was the only one in the wait room when they called me back) being seen by the dr. By now, after an hour of waiting in the room(s), I couldn't wait any longer. I went to the front desk and expressed my dismay and disappointment. She blatantly lied to me, saying that these patients had earlier appts than mine. If you value your time, go elsewhere.

Outstanding Ophthalmologist! Professional, Effective & Personable! Involves YOU in the plan of care for your eyes. Dr. Braun’s staff also exemplifies these same wonderful attributes! My review is based on receiving basic eye exams, emergency treatment and eye surgery.

I spent almost 2 hours at her office, but saw her for 5 minutes. She stated she could not write a prescription for contacts without knowing my previou ...

Expect to wait an hour, expect childish front office staff, the staff that assist Dr. Braun in the back are professional, HOWEVER...my real complaint is with Dr. Braun. She said she can only write a prescription if she had my previous doctors eye prescription, because she works off that. I left with a referral to WALMART! How can you be an eye doctor and only be able to work off a previous doctors prescription.....you should be knowledgeable enough to determine that for yourself...that's why you are a doctor....that's why I came to see you. Left disappointed. Will not go back. I am in the medical profession and I will not refer any more patients to her.

Dr. Braun is personable and friendly. However, she has a complete disregard for her patients time. Ive seen her twice in the past 3 months and both times waited well over an hour past my scheduled appoitment to be seen. If you dont mind waiting and have no where to be id recommend her. Otherwise find someone else.

Dr. Braun performed my first surgery about 5 years ago. She stays on top of the issues and speaks in language I understand regarding my condition. She is great.

This was a horrible experience. I have diabetes so my physician recommended an eye exam. I went to this doctor because of proximity to my house. The wait for the doctor was over an hour. The staff lost my insurance ID and driver's license and then blamed me for that. The office manager was deliberately rude and provocative. After over 2 hours there I left without my insurance id and driver license. The doctor hardly spent any time with me. To add insult to injury they did a refraction exam that I did not need given that I had gone for a diabetic eye exam. They charged an extra $55 for that. After all this they expected me to come back in 4 months!

She made me feel comfortable and it was easy to talk about my symptoms. She was caring and went 100% to make sure that I was given the care I needed immediately. I would highly recommend her.
