Dr. Christina Brooks, M.D.

I visited Dr. Brooks for a consultation, but found her demeanor impersonal and dismissive. She seemed inattentive to my concerns during our discussion. After X-rays revealed abnormalities, as noted by the radiologist, I received a delayed call from her office-eight to ten days later-stating everything was fine and recommending physical therapy. A second opinion contradicted this, highlighting significant issues in my midsection spine, underscoring a concerning oversight

I saw Dr. Brooks for a consult ahead of receiving injections. I did not feel that she was receptive to my issues. It felt as though she made assumptions about the source of my pain and when performing my physical exam seemed uninterested in exploring my actual symptoms. I felt several assumptions were made by Dr. Brooks about my problems and I felt very dismissed. Her communication approach was direct and abrupt. I do not feel she was willing to further explore my issues because they are complex and do not fit into a typical diagnosis. If you are struggling with complex symptoms, I recommend trying another provider. I will not be continuing care with Dr. Brooks. I will add though that the nurse was very welcoming, receptive and helpful. I also had a very short wait time.

This provider was not at all helpful to me and my situation. I struggle with unique medical issues that need extra explanation and some empathy. Dr. Brooks made assumptions about my issues, ignored the actual problems during my physical exam and was very dismissive of my concerns. I do not feel comfortable pursuing further medical care with her. I suggest finding a different provider if you have complex symptoms.

cancel appointments without reviewing medical records. Unwillingness to listen to patients concerns. If I could give less than a 1 start I would. I would NEVER recommend this doctor.
