She is the best. Not only passionate about her profession but very smart, kind and considerate. She follows up on everything relative to you and stays on top of all medical advancements. I could not ask for a better doctor.

Dr. Gelev is the best doctor I have ever had. She listens, carefully evaluates, and comes up with a plan. Her followup is amazing. I was treated for a condition I didn't have for 20 years until she came along and uncovered the real problem. She has a no-nonsense approach, with a refreshing touch of humor. More importantly, she treats me like an individual with individual problems for which she tailors individual solutions.

I'm a 62 year old male, so I've experienced a bunch of physicians. Dr Gelev is the first one who encourages me to be involved in discussions of my physcial well-being. So many doctors have treated me as a case, not a person. It's a refreshing change and I appreciate being given the opportunity to be involved. Add to that the fact that her diagnoses and treatment have always been spot on ... I'm a very satisfied patient.

I have no issues with Dr. Gelev, but the admin. staff leaves much to be desired, and it's not just the usual delays in responding to calls for appointments. Recently my wife called to schedule a flu shot, and was told to call back at the end of the following week. But when she did, she was told there were no spots available in that round and that she could try again on Monday. Very frustrating, especially since we both work for a preschool and therefore really need these shots.
