Dr. Christina Marie Ottomeyer, MD

I am 72 years old and I ruptured a disk L4-L5. I went to the emergency room in Anaconda, Mt. and received about 3 or 4 day of hydrocodone and told to take 4 ibuprofen and 2 acetaminophen every 6 hours, and then call Dr. Ottomeyer which I did. I got in to see her nurse practitioner who told me to continue the ibuprofen and acetaminophen, but no hydrocone. During the next 3 weeks I went back for an x-ray and finally a MRI. So 4 weeks later I had taken over 300 ibuprofen and 150 acetaminophen. This was the most pain I have ever had, counting an acl tear, broken ribs and a hit in the stomach in and industrial accident which later caused me to pass out. I called their office back three times to get a referral for a spinal injection which they said they would, do and I never got a call back. By this time, I was able to manage the pain and feel ok now. DON'T EXPECT PAIN MANAGEMENT WITH THIS NURSE. I never met the doctor who may be a very good surgeon, but she should be… responsible for those working for her.
