Dr. Roberto Daniel Calderon, MD

Dr. Calderon never asked me about my work or even check my MRI before giving me his diagnostic and 6 weeks of physical therapy. He told me I was totally fine, I had no arthritis in my hip and my spine was OK. He finally did checked the MRI after our initial meeting and realized my hip is seriously messed up. Yet he never changed his diagnostic or prognostic. While he saw me in pain and walking with crutches, like ALL doctors I saw before him who wrote serious physical limitations i.e. no bending, no lifting, no climbing ladders or stairs, he never made any recommendations or put me out of work. Instead he put me in "light duty." I am a heavy equipment operator how can I operate a 50 tons machine in my condition? If you deal with him make sure he acknowledge all previous doctors findings and check your MRI! The staff who dealt with me were rude and knew nothing about my case. I asked him for a letter mentioning my condition to provide my mortgage company because of the accident I was… late on my payments, he simply refused! Not happy at all with this person.

I have 3 more joints & if I needed surgery I would go to no one else but Dr Calderon.

Half hour appointment. Nurses spend 20 minutes with me, docter maybe 5 minutes.

I had a SLAP tear and another procedure done by Dr. Calderon at Andrews AFB, and the outcome was definitely worth the pain. Today I can move my arm forward without having to worry if it's going to hurt. I do have some other issues related to my shoulder but without the surgery I would not be the same person. Obviously surgery is not fun and it's stressful, but Dr. Calderon was confident in his answers and told me about the things I should expect from the surgery so just expected it to go well. I don't think he knows how much better life is for me and I just wanted to thank him and his staff. Thanks Dr. Calderon.
