Dr.Stenger revised my total knee it was not successful. After a 3.5 hour surgery Dr . Stenger did not come to my room and see how I was feeling . Dr. Stenger was supposed to remove old hardware in my tibia , he neglected to do so .I was experiencing pain after eight months and Dr. Stenger looked at the X-rays and said to me ( my job is done here the prosthetics are in place) . During this visit I asked him why he did not remove the hardware and he stated ( ran out of time ) . The cement used in the surgery with Dr. Stenger dissolved and the tibial component became loose . I have since had another knee revision because of the cement disintegrating and the tibial component coming loose. I have an infection in the joint and have a PICC line administering antibiotics 24/7. I do not know if the infection started with that surgery by Dr. Stenger but it is very unfortunate that I now have had two total knee revisions in three years.

He is honest and professional, and answers all your million questions. I had great results with my knee replacement surgery in 2018 and the other will be next yearly most likely. I just hope he doesn't retire beforehand? Thank you Dr. Stenger!

i needed a total hip replacement at the ripe old age of 53.. Dr. Stenger isn't only a cool guy, he's an amazing surgeon...he GLUED my incision shut, no staples. therefore, it's not his fault if i don't wear a bikini next summer. hahaha. first surgery, hopefully last. cuz they won't be as effortless as this one! thank you Dr. Stenger.. Everything has been wonderful I'm 2 1/2 weeks post total knee replacement on the left and not using any assist device My surgical site is granulating well. He's the best

Dr. Stenger completed my husband's very tough knee replacement in 2010. Due to three previous knee surgeries on that knee, and a previous bone infection, much of the bone above and below the knee had to be removed and replaced. In the past 6 years this knee has given my husband no trouble. In fact, he is able to exercise on a spin cycle 5 days a week, an hour each day-- with no pain or problems. Dr. Stenger worked a miracle.
