Dr. Christine Elisabeth Austin, MD

Dr Austin noticed bruising on our child and called Child Protective Services after a normal visit regarding a common cold. We have a very active child under 2 that is constantly running into and falling off of things. Child Protective Services showed up without warning with a local police officer an interrogated us about our child for 3 hours. Since we did not have answers for the bruises they threatened to take our kids away unless we waived our rights of privacy and due process. They inferred that since we did not have answers for the bruising other than normal active playing that we were being investigated. CPS and the officer also stated that the case would be sent to the local District Attorney office for criminal charges even though they had no proof of anything other than wanting to point the finger at someone. This all started by Dr. Christine Austin contacting Child Protective Service after our normal office visit. Be warned and do not fall into the same trap that… happened to us. Have a plan in case your doctor does the same to you.
