Unprofessional, unhelpful, and rude. They view patients seeking clarifications as questioning their expertise and refuse to properly explain. If you want a friendly caring environment this is not the place.

May of 2022 is when I was told that I could get an appointment. I am a current patient that needs seen. They are closed on Fridays. Maybe they should think of opening appointments up to see the patients you are to care for. My entire head looks like it has sunburn and is itching and burning. Who can wait a year in agony. Thanks for caring so much.

I was scheduled for laser vein treatment with Dr.Cassel. The office manager came in prior to Dr.Cassel for me to sign for consent of treatment. I mentioned to her that I had a few questions for Dr.Cassel prior to the procedure since I was not given any pre or post treatment instructions. Long story short, Dr.Cassel came in 50 mins after my scheduled appt. and later told me she chose to see her other patients first because I sounded like a “difficult” patient according to her office manager. I told her I was concerned because I did not have the appropriate compression stockings with me since I was not informed I needed them after the treatment. She admitted she did not make me aware of this but informed me of all pre treatment instructions 3 MONTHS AGO at my last appt. Dr.Cassel then refused to treat me during this appt. because I had expressed concern over not having the stockings and questioned why I never received this information prior to the appt. I’ve been going to… Brownstone for years but I will never step foot in that building again. I have never experienced something like this before. Dr.Cassel and the office manager were the most unprofessional people I’ve ever interacted with. Dr. Cassel provides a literal medical service built around multiple related experiences along with the core Dermatological knowledge base and over a decade of practice. A native by birth to Hummelstown, PA (and fellow Lower Dauphin H.S. classmate), she brings a compassion to her fellow local clients. That compassion is the source of all her non-literal, value-added context that can (in isolation) be unfortunately overlooked by some clients. But when sensitive to the unadvertised language of her compassion, there is an uniqueness to her provided service. An enrichment that seems to somewhat continue to extend into the charm of the well-preserved historical Brownstone building itself. Great doctor and expert care! Patient for 5 years

Brownstone Dermatology I would like to advertise the stinky medical service I received from Brownstone Dermatology. Yesterday I was to see Dr. Christine Cassl MacKay. DO NOT GO TO THIS STINKY DERMATOLOGIST. They stink to the high heavens and they don't give a darn about the customer. The thoughtful thing this establishment could have done was to call the customer and let them know they were paving the road (very, very hot tar and they did NOT) Instead they are more worried about their $50.00 than someone's health. Their office manager should be fired!! My appt w/Dr Cassl was@ 9AM. My feet were severely burned & still are. Yes, I was complaining my feet were so burned and these people don't even care enough to let the customer know this is going on. They knew they could see the trucks moving back and forth. This is a health risk for ANY patient and they are responsible for people's health. Ironic that I am going to a a dermatologist for plaque psoriais and I end up… burned on seeing her. Do yourself a favor and read the reviews on her & don't go to this establishment. She has around 17 reviews on google which 3-4 reviews are positive, the rest STINK! This dr said she refused to see me b/c she claims I was rude. Well my feet were on fire just to see her and her staff did NOTHING to help me. SHE IS THE WORST AND MOST INCOMPETENT DERMATOLOGIST I HAVE EVER SEEN, & SO IS HER STAFF

dR. mackly is poor with followup and she is not intreseted in her patients. She and her stafff are strictly in it for profit! RUN FROM DR. MACKLEY and her entire practice!

I even called ahead to make sure she was running on time. I was told they can't tell that because every patient is different. Hey, my time is important too. I think they need to decrease my wait time or I'm going elsewhere.

immpossible to get an appointment without waiting months. Front desk staff rude. Feel very rushed..not listened to/talked with in the office.

Dr. Mackley always takes time to get to know my family--knows their activities and knows how to integrate her treatment with their lifestyles.
