Dr. Stanton Samuel Lebouitz, MD

I had a growth on my one hand and after an attempt by my physician to freeze it off with no success, was referred to Dr. Lebouitz. He saw me within a week and I experienced no long wait in the office. He immediately recognized the problem and surgically removed it successfully. I initially wanted to be seen at Hershey Dermatology where my husband goes, but there was a 6 month wait to be seen there. Dr. Lebouitz was quicker, closer, and just as competent as any at Hershey. I will continue to see him for full body checks in the future

I was fearful to go to Dr Lebouitz after reading the reviews. He knew immediately ehat was wrong. He was personable and professional. He removed a growth on my leg and was concerned for my comfort while doing so. Wait time was not long. Recommend him highly'

The doctor is a nice guy but it isn’t worth waiting to see him. Each appointment I had took over an hour from scheduled time until I was actually seen. The last time took so long I ended up leaving without even being seen. You’re better off going elsewhere. Horrible practice and the staff isn’t too friendly either. I filed a formal complaint through my insurance company.

Don't question your care...he gets very defensive. He was giving me another bout of steroids #3 and he got angry when I questioned if it was a good idea to keep me on steroids...he treated to stop seeing me because I was too aggressive.

Waited 3 hours to see the doctor for 20 seconds. A typical pattern here.

I had a 6 p.m. appointment only to find that 10 other people in the waiting room had the same appointment. I was taken back to a room at 8:45 and seen after 9:00 p.m. The doctor gave me 30 seconds of his time. What a waste. For all the business he has why not hire an additional doctor. I don't know how long everyone else waited. Many people rescheduled.

This office has no respect for others time!! Plan on an ALL Day appointment!!!!

While the hour wait time with an additional thirty minute in-room wait time was a nuisance, it was the conduct of "doctor" Lebouitz that is truly the issue. It's concerning that a parent cannot have questions pertaining to the health and well-being of their child answered by this man. During our most recent visit, "Doctor" Lebouitz reacted in an unprofessional, condescending manner with threatening gestures and language while a four-year-old was in his presence. It is apparent that he is not current or knowledgeable in his practice to explain simple questions that one might have. These questions could have had a simple answer, however, they were not provided; they were later answered by the poor nurse who had to bear witness to his unprofessionalism. During the exchange, it was apparent that his ego was more of his concern than putting a concerned mother's questions at bay. Instead of providing ease of mind to his patients, he proceeded with aggressive finger pointing and foul… language all the while a four-year-old was watching his distasteful actions. His actions are the epitome of what a doctor should not be. Whether he had a long or bad day, as stated by the nurse upon her solo return to the room, it should be noted that no matter the prior conditions of his day, he should act in a manner that is in the best interest of his patients; the Hippocratic oath.

Had a scheduled appointment with Dr. Lebouitz at 4:30 yesterday. Upon entering the office there were approximately 15 people waiting in the reception area. After approaching the counter I was told it would be an HOUR and HALF delay. I had the option of seeing the other practitioner there , who could see me sooner. I have been to that person before and did not like the exam. So I specifically scheduled with Dr. Lebouitz. So, I said I would run a few errands and be back within the hour. When I returned 50 minutes later , I was told I would have to reschedule, because the doctor already had the last patient in the back and the other doctor had already left. I work 9 hours a day , and told them MY time is valuable too, and that if they are running that far behind, they could at least give their patients the curtesy of a phone call instead of giving them the grand run around!. I even tried calling the Hanover office before I left work to see how far behind they might be running, as I have… experienced long wait times in the past. The Hanover phone number was transferred to the York office, where I was rudely told when the Hanover office is busy the lines transfer to the York office, she said " I have NO idea of the what their schedule is", sarcastically. I had NO idea, that the York office was picking up, since I dialed the Hanover number and she did not identity that when she answered the phone. I believe the office intentionally over books patients with Dr. Lebouitz ,full well knowing, most people want to see him, and not someone else, but knowing people don't want to waste too much time waiting, many will accept the option. A patient who was checking out was complaining and the receptionist said that it is always like this , unless you get the first appointment of the day or the one right after lunch. She explained some patients need surgery and that is part of the reason. Just me , but wouldn't you have specific days for those longer procedures? Anyway, needless to say I did NOT reschedule with this practice. Bottom line, double booked for half the care.
