I saw doctor Esper for motion testing. I never had a test like this before. She put markers on my body and I saw my body in 3D while doing tasks to test my movements and tremor. So happy to go to Emory! This experience was one of a kind.

Dr. Esper reviewed my records and gave me a thorough analysis of my Parkinson's issues. She was very informative and down to earth. She gave me new ideas for follow-up and treatment. Well worth the trip from Greenville, SC.

I was being treated for essential tremor and wasn’t getting better. I figured that was it for me but my friend encouraged me to get a second opinion at Emory. I saw Dr. Esper. She spent quite some time getting my history and then examined me. I’ve never had such a thorough exam in my life! She agreed with my diagnosis but changed some meds and doses and my tremor is much better! I can eat now and I don’t have as much trouble typing at work. Thank you Dr. Esper and thanks to my friend who pushed me to go to that appointment!

She is great. I had to transfer my card from Dr. Delong who I have been with for years and love, so I was worried about seeing someone new. She made me feel so comfortable and was so knowledgeable about treating my tremor. It turns out she trained under Dr. Delong which made me feel even better. I left the clinic feeling so relieved! I am so happy I was scheduled with Dr. Esper!

She took care of my mother. We knew she was slowing g down and then eventually was in a wheelchair. She was being treated for Parkinson’s by a local doctor but we went to Emory for a second opinion. Dr. Esper was so thorough. She thought my mom was undertreated. She gave her more meds and she can walk now and tremor is better! It’s like a miracle. My mom is also doing PT that Dr. Esper recommended which has really helped her too. We are so happy.

She evaluated me for DBS. Was very thorough. Explained the surgery. She took care of me after surgery, and I am very happy with the results. So happy to have her as my doctor!

I had surgery and Dr. Esper had to program my brain to control the tremor. Despite a few attempts of excellent control, the tremor would come back again a few weeks later. She never gave up. She saw me more frequently and adjusted the settings more and asked me to turn the device off at night. I am now tremor free! Thank you Dr. Esper! You changed my life.
