Horrible from start to finish. Long wait time, in the waiting area and in the room before seeing Dr. Gutierrez (30 minutes in waiting room and 35 minutes in room). She had odd bedside manner, didn't make me feel comfortable, didn't listen to concerns, and misdiagnosed me. After getting abnormal results back, she failed to prescribe me medicine until I reached out to ask for it. She also ignores follow up messages. DO NOT GO TO HER

Horrible horrible experience with this practice and this doctor. Highly unprofessional and unknowledgable. Would absolutely not recommended to anyone. Upon waiting for a prescription that the doctor *forgot* to send out on a Friday afternoon (mind you this was 3pm when I called and the office told me she forgot and they couldn't get in contact with her until Monday and that there was nothing they could do for me) I had to then call them back Monday morning, they didn't even call me, and when I called the office told me that it was not their job or the doctor's job to contact me.....I'm sorry what exactly is your job then? They are rude and incredibly uninformed and Dr. Gutierrez seems to be clueless.

Given all that these doctors have to go through these days, she does a great job at trying to make patients feel comfortable. I'm surprised at all the hours and patients they manage

I wish I could put 0 stars. I have never had such a horrible experience with a physician before. I am a third year medical student and we learn how to care for the patient and have excellent bedside manner. Dr. Gutierrez had no bedside manner and was extremely rude. I went in just for a consultation and birth control but the nurse talked me into getting a Pap smear since I was on a new insurance and they wouldn't know I had just had one a year ago. So Dr. Gutierrez just walked in and right away told me to put my feet in the stirrups. While placing my feet she asked me, "so what birth control do you want?" First of all this question caught me off guard because I came in to discuss my options but I ended up explaining that I was considering a diaphragm because I don't like the way the hormones of birth control made me feel in the past. She rudely snapped at me saying, "well we don't do that here cause it's not effective so might as well just use a condom." While this conversation is… going on all of a sudden I feel a slight pinch in my vagina, she had placed the speculum in without any warning. Then she proceeded with the pap and pelvic exam and when finished she was about to walk out but I reminded her that the real reason why I came in hadn't even been discussed yet and aside from that we hadn't completed the birth control conversation. Then I tried to have more of a conversation with her but it was near impossible due to her snappy manner. Then to top it all off, as I was walking out I asked for her license information because I was appalled by her behavior and poor bedside manner, the nurse gave me Dr. Gutierrez business card and said, "oh by the way we tested you for all STDs." I was never asked if I wanted to be tested nor explained by Dr. Gutierrez that that was what she was doing. Overall, I am shocked by this encounter and wouldn't recommend anyone to her care.

Dr. Gutierrez has been my OBGYN ever since before I was pregnant with my daughter. During my pregnancy she was so attentive and was ALWAYS very caring. I would call the office often with questions and she would always return my calls and had answer to all my questions and concerns. Unfortunately she wasn't the one on call the day I went into labor :( However, the whole staff is very pleasant. If you are looking for a down to earth, caring and knowledgeable doctor, Dr. Gutierrez is the choice !! :)
