Both of my sons were patients at Lakeview Pediatrics. We have moved to a new practice because we didn't like several things about LP. They consider you late if you do not arrive 15 minutes early and they once told us we would have to re-schedule for only being 5 minutes early. They find opportunities to "double dip" on charging for appointments where ever possible. Our health insurance did not require a co-pay for Well Baby visits. On more than one occasion we were charged as if the kids were seen twice in one day and as a result we had to pay co-pays for well visits. For example, our son had to have surgery so we brought in his pre-op physical forms to his 6 month well visit appointment. They charged several hundred dollars to fill out the pre-op form even though it didn't require any extra checks beyond the well visit. I do not like their bedside manner either. They tend to be alarmists and do not make first time parents feel more comfortable.
