Dr Meyer and the staff are wonderful. They take the time to listen. They are very responsive to questions and truly care about their patients.

Great staff, all very good. Except the people who get the messages. Very poor follow up on phone messages.

Dr. Meyers makes difficult situations easier to bear. She is compassionate and empathetic. Since this is her practice and she is the way she is, the rest of her staff is similarly kind and understanding. John Green

Both my husband and I have gone here for years and it has reached the point where we are going elsewhere. During my first visit the nurse practitioner pushed me to have every test she could think of done, even though I was in an overall good state of health. Tried a new staff doctor the next time and she claimed to be a strong opponent of open conversation and sharing. This turned out to be just claptrap. She didn't order the right lipid panel for me; then refused to send me a prescription for it. The only communication I got in return to my several emails was to come into the office to "discuss". One can't discuss tests that weren't done! I ended up running my own test, on my own dime and found that I am fine. Having thought about this since last year, I've decided to find a new doctor. One who really cares and who communicates without insisting on office visits that just increase her paycheck.

I have been a long time patient and must admit have had superior to less than satisfactory over the course of my using this practice. Today I went and have to say it was a PLEASURE. Cara a (PA)and a new member of Dr. Meyers team is wonderful. She is smart and attentive and a wonderful listener. She immediately addressed issues I have been struggling with for 23 years and ordered a test. The new male nurse is friendly and approachable and made time for me while he was with me. They even offered to do the blood test in office saving me another appt. at Quest. I do feel it was time for some major changes here, as I too had seriously considered leaving. She is listening to her patients, she has brought in new staff and they are very good. I think some of the front desk staff that used to eat while the phone was ringing have been replaced as well. Change is good and in this case, excellent.

I saw Dr. Meyer but first corresponded with her through email. In the email I explained that I had just moved to the area and was having trouble finding a doctor that would keep me on the medication my previous doctor had me on. She said everything I had hoped in the email and then I went to see her. Acted completely different and ripped me off of two medications, cold-turkey. With these specific meds you are supposed to be weaned off; therefore I ended with extreme Vertigo for four months; one week I couldn't' drive because my head was spinning so bad and I couldn't see. I sent her emails, I went in there three times; didn't give me any meds to help, didn't want to admit I was going through medication withdrawal. My son sees a psychiatrist for his condition and I spoke with him and he agreed to treat me for these meds and help me wean off the one I wanted to be weaned off of. He flat out told me that what she did to me was WRONG and that is what caused my condition. She kept… telling me that I had an inner ear infection; I went to an ear specialist ; was fully examined and he said "your ears are fine, you are going through medication withdrawal". I then went to an eye doctor, thinking okay maybe it is my eyes, he too, said the same thing, "your eyes are fine, you are going through medication withdrawal". Both of these reports were sent to Dr. Meyer, crickets. Those are 4 months of my life I will never get back and try to take care of a special-needs child on top of that was even more challenging, no thanks to her. She didn't care; she didn't offer any help or any support. However, I did meet Lisa Murphy there and I have to say, I really like her. She is the only reason my husband and I continue to go there; she is understanding and listens to everything we have to say. She also responds to any email inquiries I have right away. I do agree with the other comments; I don't like the fact that it is really to talk to someone. I moved from an area where we had true "family practices"; I could talk to staff any day I wanted and they knew who I was, my son and my husband and knew our history. I was there for 13 years. Up in this area, there seems to be no true "family practices" more like factory medical centers. However, I do recommend Lisa Murphy.

I have been a patient at Dr. Christine Meyer, MD and Associates since 2013. I joined the Practice after several suggestions from my mother who was already a patient. I was hesitant to leave my Dr. who I had seen for many years, but I was having symptoms affecting my quality of life with migraines, insomnia, dizziness, fatigue, falling and hair loss without any improvement despite seeing two neurologists. The first year after starting treatment at CMMD, my whole life changed for the better. I am so grateful to be a patient at a practice where all the Providers listen, develop a treatment plan with their patients and show compassion. I never feel like just another patient. I am always warmly welcomed and feel my concerns are taken seriously.

Dr. Myer is her own biggest fan. The office has became a “factory”. The doors could potentially close soon as Dr. Myer’s is now being investigated by the State Of Pennsylvania and could lose her ability to write prescriptions. Dr. Myers believes she can play by her own rules.

The worst medical facility I've ever been affiliated with. They don't return phone calls. You rarely ever get a live person on the phone. When you do, they don't resolve the problem. You have to talk to two or three more people to resolve the problem. They have lost a urine sample where I've had to return to give another one. I don't know how elderly people could ever deal with that office. The absolute worst.

Been going to this practice a long time. It's never been great, but now it's to the point where we just have to find another doctor. Can't get an appointment. Can't get prescriptions filled. When you finally get in, it's a ridiculously long wait.
