Dr. Christine Skiadas, MD

Dr. Skiadas is truly exceptional in her field. As both a surgeon and OB-GYN, she delivers outstanding care. My experiences with her have been nothing short of wonderful and miraculous. She possesses a unique skill set that combines thoroughness with a comforting demeanor. She pays close attention to details and approaches her patients with honesty and integrity. I am truly grateful. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking quality medical care.

Doctor Skiadas made my treatment much easier. She doesn't send a nurse to tell you what she is going to do, she explains what the options are and what evidence recommends certain options. She then actually considers what you want. Unlike some doctors, she is willing to consider the patient's experience of going through treatment, she doesn't just assign the treatment everyone gets but considers customizing based on patient experience. I received much less invasive treatments (that I hadn't even been told existed with a previous doctor) and got pregnant on the first try in treatment with Dr. Skiadas. The whole point of treatment is to get pregnant so success speaks highly, but additionally I was feeling much healthier and able to do my job well while going through treatment. I recommend her highly!

Diagnosed a uterine fibroid took it out and got pregnant on first ivf after male issue. Followed me through another pregnancy and caught a genetic issue. She is kind, caring, honest, and extremely intelligent and good at what she does! Highly recommended!

Highest recommendation. Dr. Skiadas is positive and sincere, appropriately aggressive, responsive to patient's goals and concerns, and respectful. Most importantly, she always seems to have another plan or idea when something doesn't work rather than repeating the same unsuccessful protocol too many times.

Dr. Skiadas is terrific! She is really courteous, isn't annoyed by a million questions, takes the time to explain things, etc. Sometimes appointments re: infertility are more meetings to strategize than physical exams, and I like that she conducts those appointments in her office rather than in a cramped and sterile exam room. Also, her nurses are across the board lovely, and very accessible and knowledgeable. Ultrasounds - which, if you are new to fertility treatment, you will discover occur with great frequency - are easy to schedule but often run late (this isn't a reflection on Dr. Skiadas specifically; just the office). I haven't gotten pregnant yet, but I am comfortable with the current treatment plan and feel like I have been involved in decisions along the way.

I saw Dr. Skiadas after one year unsuccessful TTC. She did some blood test and HSG and told me that I have an explained infertility. I had one cycle of IUI at Harvard Vanguard. The whole management for my IUI was totally a mess. I switched to another fertility center at Boston right away. During my first appointment at the new fertility center, I was found to have a big uterine fibroid which was surprisingly not diagnosed after so many examination and imaging by Dr. Skiadas.

I recommend Dr Skiadas without hesitation. She's everything you want a doctor to be in this field of work. Extremely knowledgeable with an amazing bedside manner. Before my surgery, while waiting in the OR, she came over and rested her hand on my arm while everybody set up. It was a small gesture but made an immense difference. Dr Skiadas explains everything clearly and has all the time in the world for questions, you never feel like a 'case,' you feel like a person.

Dr. Skiadas is a caring and compassionate doctor. She has great bedside manner and has a way of easing my concerns during the appointment. Her nurse Chris DeMelius is also a wonderful woman to have involved in my care.
