Cynthia Shechter, CLT-UE, IORE, MA, OTR/L, CIMT, CORE Certified is the owner and Director of Rehabilitation at ShechterCare®. An expert in breast cancer and lymphedema rehabilitation, she serves patients in the Emerson, NJ area. At ShechterCare, Cynthia creates a welcoming space where expert care meets genuine compassion. One-on-one therapy takes place in private treatment rooms or in her small, fully equipped gym, with every plan tailored to patients's unique needs and goals. Through this personalized approach, she helps patients regain strength, confidence, and the ability to fully embrace life. Utilizing comprehensive manual therapies, including soft tissue work, scar massage, and lymphatic drainage, Cynthia and her team treat patients with expertise.Cynthia earned her masters degree in occupational therapy at New York University. She has devoted her clinical practice to breast cancer and lymphedema rehabilitation and is passionate about patient care.
