Dr. Theroux was elected by her peers the first President of the Colorado Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry an affiliate of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Channel 9 news featured Dr. Theorux for her cosmetic and restorative dentistry on domestic violence victims. She volunteers her time for the for Metropolitan Denver Dental Society Domestic Violence Dental care Program.
