Dr. Christine Teresa Van Ramshorst, MD

Very short with answers. Did not talk to me about what to expect during my pregnancy or delivery. I felt so lost and usure about alot of things with her. I did most of my research on my own. About a month before my delivery i was forced to look for another Dr because i was told by the other nurses she was gone. I went to Dr. Rene Perez just because he was the only other one and i wanted to just get the baby out. I would never recommend Dr. Christine VanRamshorst to any other woman.

I am currently under the care of Dr. Van Ramshorst for my 1st pregnancy. So far I have to say I'm not impressed. I've had 2 appointments so far and on both occasions she was very short and uninterested in how I was truly doing as a patient. I'm a little concerned that not once have we reviewed an ultrasound together nor has she done any type of physical exam to make sure the baby is in good health. I'm 4 months pregnant and have yet to have the conversation of what is and isn't ok for me to do. Most of the education I've gotten has been from self reading on the internet. Her office put me on a payment plan right away to make sure they got their money. I have insurance and have a deductible which I've met already. Her office still wants me to pay what I owed of my deductible at the time they ran the insurance. They refuse to recalculate and insist I'll be reimbursed for any over payment. Seriously doubt that. I'm currently looking for a new Dr and open to recommendations.
