Dr. Christopher James Agrusa was very kind and attentive. He listened carefully and answered all the questions I asked. He explained the process of the procedure I have to do and made me feel at ease throughout my visit. I have confidence in his skills and I know I will be in safe hands

Dr Agrusa saved both my legs from blood clots because he was brilliant and persitant during hisb12 hour surgery. Having him on call the night I was transfered in to New York Prespetrian hospital from a near by hospital was a miracle. He is a brilliant kind caring surgeon who is honest and thoughtful always. I would highly recommend him and his team. Without him I would have lost both my legs and I will always consider him my hero.

Due to TOS I am copying and pasting my review from another site. AMAZING. I was diagnosed with Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, my doctor from HSS highly recommended Dr Agrusa, and she was correct. He takes time and explains EVERYTHING. His staff is friendly and professional. I am awaiting tests and test results and then may be moving forward with a surgery.

Dr. Agrusa has the qualities I expect from a physician: engaging, easily to communicate, listens to your concerns, explains his evaluation and recommendations and makes one feel that you can trust him to take care of you with his expertise.

This doctor is not only a gifted surgeon, he is an extremely caring human being. I required a severe surgery to correct a severely blocked carotid artery . That condition could have caused a stroke if not addressed. I was referred to Dr Agrusa by the cardio thoracic team that had previously taken care of me. They spoke very highly of Dr Agrusa and I can understand why. He was concerned with every aspect of the procedure and my treatment. One cannot even see where the incision was made for the surgery. He told me had a way to do it in a natural line of my neck so when it healed it was not easily visible. It's not just his surgical ability that makes him stand out , its the manner with which he trats people..his patients, his team and support staff. Everyone is treated by him with respect. He has a great sense of confidence in what he does without being arrogant about it. if I ever have any need for such surgery again I would never go to anyone else and would recommend him to anyone.… His team are really super to deal with as well.
