Jian Shou graduated from Lincoln Medical and Mental Health center in 2002 after five years of a general surgery residency. Prior to that he held the title of Research Associate in the Department of Surgery at Cornell for three years. In addition, he was a Research Associate at the University of Pennsylvania and performed a postdoctoral research fellowship from 1987 to 1991.

Dr. Shou operated on my father two months ago and the surgery was to repair his left side hernia laparoscopically. Thanks to Dr. Shou, dad's surgrey went well and he made speedy recovery. Dr. Shou and his team also promptly answered post-surgery questions. We appreicated his expertise and would highly recommend the doctor.

I have had 2 surgeries performed by Dr. Shou. He personally has called me 2 follow up on my comfort after surgery as well as staff follow up. The doctor and his staff all respond promptly to emails and or texts. Knowing the doctor is easily reachable alleviates anxiety over waiting for pathology or spiking a fever on the weekend. I cannot thank the team enough.
