If it weren't for his expertise and superlative care I would not be alive today. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, understanding, goes the extra mile and then some.

Yes, the patient died. He was on the transplant list but they said he was too ill for surgery. Uh that’s what the list is for. So they pick and choose who will live or die. They never offered the latest alternative treatments. Dr Alber said “I’ve never seen anything like this” What?!? The patient advocate sent me a letter stating the treatment was proctocol. Right. Good luck with lawsuits as the state hospitals have a cap for negligence.

I would have to agree with a previous comment on here regarding Dr. Albers hiding after missing something on a test. Same experience here. And unfortunately same outcome for our family member as well. We were not only disappointed with Dr. Albers but the entire transplant team. Lack of communication and lots of neglect. What a terrifying thought to think it's safe to trust your life with such doctors.

Hepatology and transplant liver surgeons gave every excuse not to list my father on the active list while he had NO contraindications. Their priority was clearly their stats and rankings. Absolutely unethical. Very disgusted with this hospital.

I was treated at TGH by Dr Albert for Hep C. I thought I was going to live with the disease forever. I was cured by him 3 yrs ago. I thank him so very much!

Would not give transplant and did not give medication for hep c a proven cure. Did not monitor blood transfusion. Did not treat for sepsis. Acted aloof and confused and tried to hide.
