Dr. Christopher F Bailey, MD

I saw him twice. I expressed concern about issues with cognitive function including word recall with common words, such as “conference”. He said “well we don’t have to all be pontificating all the time.” He INSISTED that my symptoms were from PTSD from an SA freshman year of college, despite them starting 3-4 years after that. When I denied that it affected me much and told him I didn’t have flashbacks or negative feelings during s-xual activity, he said PTSD doesn’t actually have flashbacks (false). I saw someone else and got diagnosed with ADHD, and just recently a rheumatic condition that causes brain fog, explaining my work recall and other cognitive issues. He also increased my antidepressant despite side effects (which he also said would contribute to the brain fog, so who knows what he was trying to do), and it took forever to decrease back to my original dose with another provider. I would never recommend him. He was actively harmful to me.

Unprofessional, aggressive, rude, expects you to acquiesce. He does not appreciate being asked about other treatments that do not involve drugs. Gets very defensive and angry. Upon looking up his medical license on the Washington State Department of Health website, there in full detail shows that Dr Christopher F Bailey, MD received disciplinary action from State of Washington Medical Commission for over-prescribing lithium that caused toxicity in his patient. I do not have any confidence in this doctor, nor do I trust him.

Inappropriate and harmful recommendation

I recently moved to Texas and am trying in vain to find a new doctor that has half the knowledge, is willing to listen, and the personablility of Dr. Bailey but I'm afraid I'm never going to find a doctor as good as Dr. Bailey again. I'd recommend him to anyone. He actually cares!
