Dr. Christopher Ibrahim Bechara, MD

I have been a patient of Dr Bechara since he took over from Dr Fine in Lancaster. I cannot say enough about him. First, This guy is one of the most intelligent people. He has taken care of my wife, my kids and I with such compassion and knowledge. I trust him with my life and he never has let me down. He knows how to make you feel comfortable and never rushed, Sure, sometimes he is running late but he never has cut my time with him short, Once you have him as your doc, you will never want another. He has helped me (even on a weekend) when my father was dying to coach me through the process. I know that it may be tough to get him as your doctor but if you can, you will never leave. Once, while taking care of my wife who has multiple health issues, he was leaving for the day and went back into the office to make sure she had the meds she needed for the weekend, Its all the small stuff that makes him a great doc. I can't say enough, Hope you may experience the level of… excellence in health care. He really cares obout his patients.

Dr Bechara runs counter to all the news we read about rushed appointments with primary care docs. He’s no non-sense, but he takes time with each of his patients, always willing to answer any question. This may mean sometimes I’m in the waiting room for a bit, but that’s because he’s taking his time with another patient. He’s also personable. He’s my primary care doc, but I need to see him very rarely, maybe once a year, yet he remembers details of my personal life much more than he remembers the details of my medical history. It’s incredibly comforting to know that your doctor knows who you are. I can’t speak highly enough of Dr. Bechara and the experiences I’ve had with his office.

Dr Bechara was my primary care physician for about 2-3 years when I lived in Clinton. He was kind, caring and professional. I remember having strep throat, an axillary abcess, nodule in my breast (scary) and other ailments that he treated. It was great to be a patient of his. He explained the whys and the why nots of his decisions, which was very appreciated by myself and my husband. Wait times were long at the office and some of the frony desk staff could have been more accommodating and polite. Overall if I were back in Massachusetts, I'd return to have him as my PCP again!

Overall, he seems like a nice guy. But he is wrapped up in the money game with the big Phara. companies to try to push the next new wonder drug. He perscribed medication for a mental disorder without consulting a psyciatrist. The outcome of this resulted in the patient making poor, rash decisions that lead to a divorce and put the family in financial ruin. I hope it was worth the kick back.

Have retained this physician as my family doctor for the following reasons:- Dr maintains current knowledge of latest trends in medicine and medical technoloty.- Provided prompt diagnoses and accurate treatment of various problems - asthma; hypothyroidism- Offers sound advice for medical and health questions- Works electronically to provide optimum patient care and reduce waiting time.- Follow-up calls are part of his office's routine.Would not hestitate to recommend this doctor.

No-nonsense, up-to-date, good contextually practiced health care, good sense of what a patient needs to know, quick to answer questions when s/he wants to know.
