Christopher V Boudakian, DO

Dr. Christopher Boudakian is the Medical Director at California Rehabilitation Institute. He is also program director of the spinal cord injury/disorders program. Dr. Boudakian joined the staff of California Rehabilitation Institute in 2016. He has board certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation with sub-specialty certification in Spinal Cord Injury Medicine. Dr. Boudakian's primary focus is providing care to those with spinal cord injury resulting in paraplegia or tetraplegia. He is also adept at managing other conditions arising from spinal cord injury including respiratory, bowel, bladder, pain, and wound care issues. He also has expertise managing the care of persons with limb loss or amputation resulting from trauma or medical disease. Additional areas of focus include spasticity management (including intrathecal pump management and botulinum toxin injections) as well as peripheral joint injections utilizing ultrasound guidance. Dr. Boudakian works closely with physical …therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, recreational therapists, neuropsychologists, and other medical and surgical specialists in order to provide comprehensive care. He is on staff at UCLA Healthcare Ronald Reagan Medical Center and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Boudakian is a member of the Academy of Spinal Cord Injury Professionals (ASCIP), American Spinal Injury Association (ASIA), Association of Academic Physiatrists (AAP), American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPMR).
