Dr. Christopher K Cheng, MD

This doctor is well trained but I did not feel he had my best interests in mind. This was mostly based on some of his documentation. I think there is a disconnect with the realities people are facing that are different than his own.

I had a very positive experience with Dr. Cheng and beg to differ from the prior review. I believe Dr. Cheng was quite confident in his work, a good listener, courteous, and maintained good communication throughout the course of my treatment. He promptly handled any appeals for treatments or diagnostic testing. He has good understanding of BOTH sleep and neurological disorders, and I recommend him without reservation.

I saw Dr. Cheng when trying to find the root cause of my neurological symptoms. He never was able to diagnose me and I felt like he dragged me along for months and ultimately delayed my treatment. He wasn't confident in his communications and I didn't feel like he listened to my symptoms, regardless of how I communicated them (faxing in advance, verbally explaining, handing a written list to him). I've since found a neurologist who has diagnosed me and is treating me. My impression is that his focus is on sleep issues, and his knowledge on other areas is limited.
