Many years ago this doctor was a life saver for my daughter . Many years later anxiety coming back and she won’t see anyone else but him. His approach is very effective

Lack of empathy, pessimistic towards children. Poor communicator and looking to divide.

Referred to Dr. Duckett by therapist. Medication approach was good; handling of child on spectrum was not. Could not get help from him or paged dr on call when child was depressed to point missing school.

2 years ago we took our 8yrar old child to this man. Our boy was diagnosed with ADHD and high functioning autism. We went to him for help and advice. Our initial visit was $600. He met with us for one and a half hours and our boy for 15 minutes. He said therapy for social arts and ADHD were a waste of money. He also said our child didn’t need friends. Just keep him comfortable and don’t put him In stressful situations. He also said accept his diagnoses and deal with it. When we left his office we were devastated but then my wife and I agreed that he was not a doctor we should take advice from so we decided to seek out another. Through recommendations we found Dr. Lisa Goldstein, a real expert! We are thrilled that today our child is thriving,. He has had social arts therapy weekly with Mike Fogel and additional help from Chelsie Collier at EBS in West Chester and Dr. Mara Dixon. Our boy is going to public school now and thriving. He is gifted in math and science and has 4 or 5… close friends that he loves being with. Thank God we did not listen to this man. I am now considering taking legal action against him. Not for money. I don’t need that. I feel the need to protect other children from him and also save parents from the heartbreak we felt after meeting with him. Please be sure that before you take his advice for your child, that you seek out other real professionals to help guide you through this difficult path. Don’t give up and be prepared for better than you expected with the intervention from real professionals that care and most importantly that of God.
