Dr. Christopher R Edwards, MD

I've seen Dr Edwards multiple times. He acts caring initially, but he is not worried about your well being AT ALL. He's is known throughout the state for good inability to treat workman's comp patients fairly or impartially. On multiple occasions have been told to return to work, without the ability to stand up straight or be on my feet without intense pain. Prescribes trash and doesn't communicate well at all when discussing return to work or steps going forward. At times he outright lies to your face just to push the appointment forward.

Super nice and very thorough. He has helped me with a conservative approach and made me feel much better about my outlook. I highly recommend.

He is very arrogant and very pushy. He is not a caring or concerned doctor. He was only concerned with working with the attorney and vey money driven.

Dr. Edwards is a skilled orthopedic surgeon, but the wait in his office is ALWAYS lengthy. I had an 8:00 am appointment. I was on time. It’s 9:00 am. I’m still waiting. This happens EVERY visit.

I had been suffering from a workplace injury for over eight weeks and only after switching to Dr. Edwards do I most importantly feel understood about my pain and secondly he did something about it! It’s a miracle! Thank you Dr. Edwards

Dr Edwards is a really good surgeon. He is a workers comp doctor who knows that system. He and his staff do not communicate well with insurance companies

Dr. Edwards has has been my Doctor almost 10 years. He's done two of my back surgeries and I wouldn't trust anyone else. He is very kind always has a smile. Yes I've had to wait a couple of times but it's well worth it and im sure at some point everyone has had that experience with some doctor. His staff is always on point too. Kudos to Dr. Edwards and his staff

My husband recently had ACDF surgery (outpatient). He was advised that he needed to stay over. The next day, Dr. Edwards never showed up for rounds or to visit/examine my husband. After a 28 hour stay, the nursing staff finally got in contact with Dr. Edwards and he admitted that he was unaware that my husband was still admitted - noting that he thought he submitted his discharge papers the day before. The nursing staff at DeKalb Medical Center admitted that Dr. Edwards does complete his rounds until late morning - mid afternoon and that they often have difficulty getting in contact with him regarding patients if it's a night. We are so disappointed.
