I find it disturbing that this website had several negative reviews for this provider, but now it shows none. Mine was long, and detailed, so I am not going to bother typng it again. This psychiatrist is manipulative, dangerous, and disregards laws that are in place to protect patients' rights. I am not the only patient that felt this way. I did report him to the Board and his supervisors. I'm disappointed this website would remove such important information.

I fully agree with the reviews regarding his smugness, power trip, manipulation, and judgment. If you have a positive experience, chances are you sit back qnd let him order meds. Might work for some. He is irresponsible and difficylt to get an appointment with...unless you come off your meds! I called several days before i would run out, and asked him to call in a small emergenct supply refill when i had to extend my time out of town. After the weekend i ran out, i called again monday. (You always have to leave a message because he won't give parienrs his direct line.) He lied and said he tried saturday and sunday to call it in, but the pharmacy must have been closed because there was no answer. I told him i gave his nurse the name, address, and phone number, and they were definitely open saturday, because i was there, checking to see if he called it in. Besides, the phine goes to an automated message that lets providers leave a prescription on the message. It does not ring and ring.… Obviously, because that is what he did monday. Left my prescription on a message. He would not respind to these facts, just say he tried. Yet never even tried to call me when he knew i would be out of meds and stressing it. He also said i could gave called this on call type department and have them order it. Not helpful after the fact. So after comibg off the med (not by choice), i fecided it was not worth going through the side affects again to restart. Oh boy, he hears that from his nurse and calls me within an hour! It has gotten worse from there. He is trying to force me on additional medication, says i have poor judgment because i am disagreeing with him, is super condescending, and gets actually angry and frustrated. He threatened to have an ambulance bring me in for evaluation if i dont start a medication. Well, i called the VA mental health departnent that actually handkes those evaluations and they said i sound coherent, and not like someone who needs emergency intervention. They were trying to help me, but Dr. G cut off my contact with them. I feel trapped. He is trying to force me into a therapy i an uncomfortable with, when i am actually doing well and feeling better. If i disagree, he uses that agaidnt me because if i have good judgment i woukd kisten to him (the expert). I remended him he has known me for about 6 months. I calked my previous psychiatrist who treated me for 10+ years. He wlways treated me with respect. He listebed, but felt uncomfortable intervening. So Dr. G is trying to cut me off from everyone who may disagree or back me up. He refuses to recognize my medical advance directive that assigns someone else to speak for me. I thought that might help if he refuses to listen to me and trust my judgment. He is causing so much distress in my life right now. I asked for a different psychiatrist and he says firing providers shows poor judgment. See? Trapped. Stay away from this man.
