Dr. Christopher William Gist, MD

Dr. Gist thoroughly explained my condition and what was going to occur during the surgical procedure that I needed as well as what i should expect after the procedure. I was very comfortable with his explanation and description of the procedure. Dr. Gist and his staff were very professional and accommodating to my questions and needs. My surgery was successful and I would highly recommend Dr. Gist. I had an extremely positive experience.

Dr Gist is a great doctor and surgeon. Very professional with my diagnosis and easy to talk to. he took as long explaining as I needed to understand what was going to happen from diagnosis to post-surgery, showing great patience (I'm sure) answering all hundred dumb questions my wife and I had. Everything has gone actually better than I expected. I figured I would inform myself with info available on the internet etc which a lot of it is good, a lot of it dated etc Dr. Gist was way ahead of all that info. A hard working, very knowledgeable, professional doctor who is an expert with the "Da Vinci" system. Cool as a cucumber, professional, routine, confident - all these descriptors and I could add more, helped allay my fears about the diagnosis and surgery. Thank you Dr. Gist!

Called on a Monday per my Primary Care Doctors request. Was having UTI symptoms, but urine culture was negative. I had seen Dr. Gist for hematuria with a follow up appointment for a cystoscopy this past summer. Did not get a call back until Friday. The call dropped upon answering. I returned the call immediately, but again no nurse was available to talk to and left another message. Again, no return call. I called again the next Monday and was assured that calls from patients with symptoms were to have a return call within 4 hours. Again, no return call until that Friday afternoon. I informed the nurse that called that I had already contacted my Nephrologist for a referral to another Urologist as I could not trust their office with my health. I strongly urge caution if you choose this Dr. and his staff with your care! As a former nurse, I feel there is no excuse for this type of substandard healthcare!

Dr Gist is a wonderful Dr. very caring and easy to talk to , he takes his time explaining everything , and if you have questions, he gladly answers them . A Dr. you can trust. ... He'll be by your side all the way !
