simply put - an experience that should be in all medical providers but I have only found at VSI. Right folks doing the right work and staff is awesome.

Dr Good addressed all my concerns with my surgery

No other surgeon would have performed the procedure and achieved the results that Dr. Good did. He is at the leading edge of medical/surgical care, including non-surgical options. I could not be more pleased with having been recommended to see Dr. Good, and the overall treatment, including surgical care, I have received.

Dr Good and his team are extremely empathetic, focused on details and ask the right questions to plan the tiered courses of action. Each step is evaluated to measure desired results and additional steps are required. I have been involved in athletics and physical activities all of my like, and his successful spine hybrid surgery has sustained my running and exercise into my 60s. I am grateful for Dr Good and his team's dedication and resolve to restore people's quality of life.

From the first appointment Dr. Good listened to my concerns and developed a treatment plan based on what I wanted. He always provided me with concise informative recommendations based on what my lifestyle goals were, something I really appreciated. Dr. Good always took the time to explain everything in detail, making sure I understood the pros and cons of every treatment I was about to undergo.

Dr Good placed two artificial discs in my cervical spine. Within a week I was feeling better than I had in years. I have complete faith in him and would recommend him to anyone have spinal pain. This is my second surgery with Dr Good and I will always come to VSI if a future need arises.

Wife and I had been to prior practices and we felt that we were not being listened to, we felt rushed, and not looked after. We felt like we didn't have a team with us. That completely changed when we came to Virginia Spine Institute. We came in and immediately felt that EVERY member of the team was laser focused on making sure that we were cared for, listened to, and part of THEIR team. This made us a bit more relaxed as we worked through this challenge with their help. There aren't words to describe how grateful we are for their partnership.

Dr. Good patiently led me through the process of disk replacement. He and his staff were kind and caring, always available to answer my questions and help with my (pre-surgery) pain. Two years later and I'm feeling great, able to do all the things that my pain kept me from, including skiing, horseback riding, and kayaking. Dr. Good was right -- back surgery made a world of difference for me. I'm so, so happy to be out of pain, moving and grooving again!
