Dr. Christopher P Harkin, MD

I saw Dr. Harkin during a recent visit to urgent care. I was very impressed with his kind and gentle demeanor. I felt comfortable with him and felt like he was genuinely concerned. I would recommend him in a minute.

Just wanted him to know my husband Jim died July 24th?

My son is 17 years old. He is at an age where getting him to communicate to us any real issues is awfully difficult. He enjoys visiting with Dr. Harkin because the doctor takes the time to interact with him and shares his love of football with the doctor. Most doctors are only interested in getting the visit over with and if that were the case, my son would not even open his mouth for the entire physical. He had questions that he deemed quite embarrassing for his mother to answer but did not hesitate to get his questions asked, and Dr. Harkin graciously used his great sense of humor to aid my son in getting out what he needed to say. After the visit, he was all talk, talk, talk about what they talked about and how great he felt about being able to talk to a doctor about "men things". Dr. Harkin deserves his rating and we have recommended him and his great staff to all our friends. Keep him around, he is worth a pot of gold. Please see that he receives this great praise from a very… happy mom and family.
