Dr. Christopher Hanson Healey, MD

We have been seeing Dr. Healey since my now 11year old was only a few months old, he is a wonderful, knowledgeable doctor! We were just in for well visits for all 3 of my kids, and the nurses and staff were so great, and helped ease the stress of them having to get shots. Dr. Healey has always been great with my kids and my friends kids, mine actually don't mind going to,the doctor,lol!We are all glad we found Dr. Healey!

He is smart, cautious, thorough. We have been going there for 10 years. The on call doc is either Healey or Stage. You don't talk to talk Doc on call you have never met. Many times over the years we have had very sick children and they have met us at the office to check our children. The after hours visit charge is lower than most Ped. Regular visit price but you know these men are not in it for money. Their office is simple, clean with no fancy decorations. It's about keeping kids healthy, getting kids healthy and helping parents through the tough times of parenthood.

I don't normally see dr Healy, but had an emergency one afternoon and he was filling for dr Stage. My mother is a smoker and happened to be over at my house earlier in the day. Apparently me sitting next to her while she was smoking on my daughters nap (at ten am) made me "wreak of smoke" and "is most likely the reason my daughter acquired an ear infection at her 2:45 appt. After making me feel like a complete failure of a parent he also stated that it is genetics. I had constant ear infections as a child and that leaves me daughter more susceptible to it. He didn't tell me that, I had to GOOGLE that! Keep in mind this is my first child and I am quite young. (23) felt completely harassed and judged. If you want a nice caring dr in castle rock go see Dr Stage.

I was referred by a friend ( who has since left this practice) but on 1st visit the front desk staff were so rude. I really wanted to tell Dr. Healey about it but decided to cut them slack. We have been back 6 time and many wrong things : Rude receptionist, Misdiagnosis which could lead to death, spend 7 mins and refused to answer my concerns.. when Dr. Healey did he was looking down upon us... Yes this is why we pay for Dr. advise we donot know any better. They gave me a prescription drug that cost an arm and a leg$ ( he is maybe being paid by insurance to pus this drug) while there was generic and cheaper options, never talked even Hi or hello? where is the courtesy Mr. Dr? The nurses are great but oh well, we have to move on and I hope if your a parent with a sick kids this is a stressful office.. well check is fine since you are not stressed out btu if you hve a sick kid .. double stress

Office staff is friendly, no waiting time, Dr. quickly assessed and treated my son. I found him friendly and very laid back.

My son is 12, he has been going to Dr. Healey since he was a few days old. We love Dr. Healey! He is professional, competent, caring, great with kids and laid-back! We interviewed quite a few Pediatric Doctors before settling for Chris Healey, we love his laid back approach with us and his the kids. No self important attitude here! Dr. Healey, is down to earth, but most of all, he loves kids!!

We have been seeing Dr. Healey for about 10 years and are still in love with him. He's funny, kind and gets the diagnosis right the first time. We can't recommend him enough!

We had a morning appointment for our 2 year old daughter. She choked and vomited on the drive to the appointment. Naturally I had to pull over and clean her up and make sure she was OK. We were 25 minutes late for our appointment. The staff was rude but said they could still squeeze us in. After 1 and 1/2 hours we heard Dr. Healey say quietly to his staff "they would learn their lesson and never be late again." Upon overhearing such a remark I asked the receptionist when we could expect to be seen. She said it would be another 1 and 1/2. Then we left. I have "learned my lesson." I will never go back to such a patronizing doctor. They never even asked how my daughter was doing.

Dr. Healey is a barrel-chested, semi-bald, look you in the eye and lay it on the line with a sense of humor kind of guy. He's pretty straigt forward in his approach with both parents and kids, so if you need a lot of coddling at the dr.'s office, he's probably not the guy for you. He has always been great with me and my kids. Comes across as a little gruff at first, but he's wearing multicolored bifocals and SpongeBob scrubs so you know he's got kids on the brain and doesn't take himself too seriously. Has kids of his own and he's seen a lot of what we've brought in to his office in his own home which I like. He's made some great diagnoses for us, too. My kids are healthy and don't dread going to the dr.s office.
