Extremely knowledgeable. He and is highly capable PA Kristen House saved me when I had pneumonia! I wouldn't even consider going elsewhere. My wife is his patient now too and as picky as she is she likes the care she receives too.

Get another doctor

First, I will say that Dr. Henson is very personable and friendly. However he is also very chatty. Understandably, he is trying to provide his patients with plenty of information (but that means appts run behind). My main issue is that he immediately prescribed a pain reliever and antidepressant upon my annual mental health screening (I think that is what it is called.....you fill out a questionnaire about your stress levels). Although yes, I am very stressed (who isn't) and suffer with quite a bit of tension headaches and some anxiety, I don't know that I want to be prescribed medication 5 minutes into the appt. He also talked a great deal about a plant based diet and losing weight. These things I agree with. Only other concern is that I went in for an annual physical, but was told to come back 2 more times within that 12 month period to check how the antidepressant and pain reliever were working (which of course my insurance company billed me for). I wasn't taking the Zoloft… because I do not feel depressed (and they cause weight gain). I took the Celebrex a few times but never felt a reduction in my pain level, at which time he said the meds need to "build up" in my system. I don't want to take any medicine that badly. Overall, I fee that he really does want to help his patients.

Establish myself as new patient with Dr. Henson! His rating should be 5 star! Excellent visit with Dr., excellent treatment by entire staff! I am so pleased to be a patient in this practice!

Can Not see Dr. Henson when needed. Purposely started going to Dr. Henson with the understanding he would be primary Doctor. When needed to see him as my primary Doctor he was too booked up. He should not be taking new patients if he can not service the patients he has. Office staff was NOT very nice about trying to schedule an appointment. He is availabile for general checkups but when you need him as a Doctor he is too busy.

I saw Dr. Henson once and would never return. He didnt care about my concerns which was stress and migraines , just that we need to bill this as a physical and run labs so he could see me again in two weeks. He said he would be able to start evaluating it at my next visit. I was there for help not a physical. He wanted to tell me about eating right and told me to watch forks and spoons to get Netflix. I did not book my appt as a physical nor am I overweight! I Went to a new dr who is wonderful and addressed MY concerns and wasnt just bill happy. AVOID THIS DR.

Dr. Henson did not even answer the questions that I had concerns about.. wouldn't even look at me when I was speaking with him. Instead of asking me questions about my anxiety and how I am managing it. with the medication I am taking... he spent the whole time talking about my weight and how getting pregnant would not be good. I didn't even come to the doctor to talk about getting pregnant or even to discuss weightloss (I know he is a doctor and supposed to offer advice, but he didn't even address what I was actually there for.....) I was there for anxiety! I wasted an hour and a half of my day...avoid this guy. He loves to keeping talking...not listen....and is a hypocrite!

I really like Dr. Henson. He spends more than ample time and has a caring manner. I feel fine discussing anything with him. He is very thorough and when I was scheduled with the PA he came in to do the consult and examination. I am very satisfied under his care. William Rose

Doesn’t listen, loves the sound of his own voice, takes between 45 - 60 minutes each visit, repeats over and over, cares more about protecting himself than the patients needs, waiting room always empty for a reason.
