Christopher Douglas Jensen

I have been seeing Chris Jensen for therapy for several weeks now, and it has been, by far, the best experience I've had in therapy up to this point in my life. He is the first professional male therapist I have seen, and it has been far easier for me to speak to and open up to a man than it ever was for me when I was seeing female therapists. He's laid back yet very focused in session, he guides the conversation without rushing, he asks questions and accepts your answers or digs deeper, but is not the type of therapist who will ask the same question over and over trying to get you to respond "the right way". He is able to outline potential goal and personal challenges for the client while still allowing the client to largely take the lead and direct the session, and he has shown zero (negative) judgment or reactions to anything discussed thus far. He sets clear boundaries from the beginning which lend to a safer and more comfortable atmosphere, and I'm confident that I have finally… found a therapist that may truly be of help to me. There's plenty more positive I could say, but you should just make an appt and see for yourself!
