He is the worst urologist ever, read the medical license report about him. You will regret ever ave been talking to him.

I went to Dr. Knoedler for a routine urologic exam, because I read in the "US News" he was rated as "Top Doctor" for Urology. I had no clinical symptoms. My PSA was at 4.5, normal for age. A repeat PSA level in his office was 4.3. He did a DRE, stating, i would have a very tiny prostate, recommending a Biopsy. He diagnosed me with prostate cancer with metastatic lymph-nodes around the prostate with one year to live. He never took a Biopsy of the lymph nodes. How does he know? To check the lymph nodes for cancer, the physician takes the entire Lymph node out, as one piece, because inserting a needle into a lymph nodes would spread cancer very quickly, if the Lymph nodes were cancerous. The procedure would require general anesthesia, which Dr. Knoedler did not do. Putting a needle in a lymph node is malpractice. After the prostate Biopsy, he recommended a radical Prostatectomy, removing 4 additional organs. Upon my request, Dr. Knoedler ordered an MRI of my pelvis, which… professional urologists order before the biopsy. The first MRI needed to be repeated 4 weeks after the Biopsy-with all its side effects-, because of the bleeding caused by the biopsy. One of the side effects by taking a biopsy. The second MRI showed 2 tiny < 1cm in size benign nodules within the prostate, all capsules and lymph-nodes of the prostate were entirely normal. The prostate was normal in size, not tiny! as Dr. Knoedler, an experienced urologist, false reported. After the fact, I read, most patients will have metastatic prostate disease 8-15 years after the biopsy was taken, regardless if total prostatectomy or radiation treatment followed the Biopsy, solely, because of the highly metastatic spread of cancer from the Biopsy itself, which Dr. Knoedler said not one word about. As per Dr. Knoedler, the side effects of the prostate biopsy are: Bleeding, Pain and Infection. My 4th PSA level was 3.5. Then I read in the urologic literature, 75% of the prostate biopsies are false. After that, I have noticed, Dr. Knoedler modified my medical records to his advantage in order to look good on paper, I lost trust in him practicing medicine and was seeking another urologist outside of Metro-Urology. Biopsy and Surgery were not indicated. Dr. Knoedler "faked" the diagnosis of metastatic prostate cancer in order to make me so anxious and agree for a brutal surgery removing several organs for his own financial benefit. He went to medical school and fellowship to mislead and lie, fake diagnosis to his patients for his own financial benefit. This is a violation to the Hippocratic oath he swore. I wonder, how many diagnosis he "faked" in patients who have no knowledge in medicine.

Misdiagnosis, made diagnosis up in oder to plan a big, lucrative surgery removing several organs. All organs removed were negative for acute disease, no surgery or any other intervention was indicated. All I am left is are the complications form surgery itself. Would give this doctor a minus 10 rating
