I am surprised that Dr.Leber gets any stars at all, being in the specialty that he is. It's pretty darned hard to please a patient who is in pain. He always wanted to decrease medications but never wanted to explore other options except for telling me to exercise. I have been on a 5 mg oxycodone regimen &only taking only one at bedtime for two years. Which is not a lot. After explaining to him I thought my body had become tolerant to the medication over that period of time he refused to work with me and when an issue came up about a gap with no medication I was advised it was my fault I missed one appointment EVER in 6 years. I missed the appointment due to nausea and vomiting and the inability to drive myself to their office safely. I called their office that day and advised them I would not be able to make my appointment on that specific day. Later I was told I never called but I have the proof on my phone bill that the call was made and I was on the phone for roughly 3 minutes. I was then told by his nurse that I would have to figure something out for the 18 days I would have to go without pain medication. He previously had… prescribed morphine to me and I had one leftover pill. During the 18 days with no pain meds I cut the morphine pill into four pieces and took them on days I absolutely needed it. It barely helped but when I went to my appointment I was honest and advised him I had taken the medication. He joked around about it and said it probably wasn't even in my system. I knew he would have me do a urinalysis and because I was honest about it I had no problem doing the urinalysis. He never said anything at my appointment about there being a possibility I would be terminated as a patient. Then 9 days before my next appointment I received a letter in the mail stating he dropped me as a patient because of taking the morphine. Again, I was honest and I was also smart enough to take my boyfriend who is a police officer in Gainesville. Needless to say my advice....you are trying to take care of you and this doctor is not going to help you in your time of need whether it be for a couple years or just a couple months. He shows no concern or care for his patients after he has been treating the patient for a long period of time. I often found his comments rude and advised him I was getting around walking and moving but I was still in an enormous amount of pain. As of now I've had to involve an attorney because I have no work comp Medical Care because I told the truth to this doctor. I also forgot to add that in 2014 he tried dropping me as a patient because he said I violated the patient narcotic agreement. After going to their office and requesting a copy of this agreement that I never signed they had to reinstate me as a patient because they had no signed copy of the agreement and again I had told the truth that I had a procedure and was given extra oxycodone during my recovery of that procedure which was about 2 weeks. I think the reason why he kept trying to drop me as a patient was because I was a work comp patient and my case is undetermined at this point as to whether or not I will go to court. Currently I've been without treatment 4 four months now and my primary doctor has had to take over with prescribing medications when my primary doctor is not being paid under workers comp. I would also tell him my neck was causing shoulder pain and he would constantly tell me it had nothing to do with the herniated discs in my neck and if I wanted Physical Therapy Medicaid would have to pay for it since I'm unemployed and unable to work. So again this doctor does not care what happens to you and will not fight help you in your time of need. So do the best thing that you can do for yourself and do not go to SIMED pain clinic.

Dr. Leber seldom explores with you how you're feeling or progressing. He often fills the visit time discussing the weather or his busy schedule and related exasperation. He is incapable of addressing sensitive issues without scolding the patient. Would not recommend him on many levels.

I started seeing dr leber after on the job injury. He discussions was different at each appt. His pa was much more professional and compassionate. Dr leber probably doesn't even care to read reviews. I hope he doesn't ever have to rely on someone for his life. He also stopped me without help. Leaving me on strong narcotics, scared andand helpless. I hope i can find another doctor to help with my back problems.

The Doctor is soo busy cattle chuting patients, he is clueless on how dis-functional his office is. You literally have to go in to get an appointment. no one will ever call you back. They charge me a different co-pay everytime. Then have to send me a bill.

Dr.Leber put me on powerful narcotics then discharged me without even a face to face office visit. He waited till I came in for my scheduled app. then had his receptionist tell me. She claimed they sent me a letter that never came. I was left to deal with withdrawl by my self with no explanation and no help for my pain symptons. A simple explaination would have gone a long way. To this day I donn't know why I was discharged .

Cold and unfeeling. Rejected patient's input.Don't recommend him.

I've been seeing Dr.Leber for workcomp and I'm so impressed with him that I'm going to ask to have him treat my husband also.Each time I've seen him I've had to bring my grandaughter and my case worker came so it's been like a circus and still he answered all my questions and took time to explain everything.He really seems like a kind caring man and I would (and will) tell everyone.I think he's great.

this guy and his team coached me through a rough time in my life... they allways responded to my needs and guided me to a better life.....He is good at what he does and I hope he keeps up doing what he does the way he did with me.... thanks man for all the help!
