Dr. Christopher Lillis, MD

Dr. Lillis is truly amazing. From a simple establishing visit to a more emotional visit, he has made me feel cared for, comfortable, and in control of my health. He is extremely thorough in making a diagnosis, a great listener, and takes you seriously when you say you’re in pain. I cannot recommend him enough.

I was having migraines, finally after weekly shots for the pain DR Lillis requested an MRI. Instead of calling me into the office he called me to tell me I have a brain tumor. And have a nice weekend. UC Davis policy is to call in and explain. Give resources. Terrible way to tell your patient. No good bedside manner. He also didn’t check cholesterol levels for years and other blood work. So happy I have a new doctors.

Dr. Lillis is literally the best doctor I have ever been to. My husband and I are new to the area and blindly chose Dr. Lillis as our Primary Care Physician. After meeting him, even my husband raved about how great he was. He is literally the kindest person, it doesn’t feel forced or fake. He was very patient and gentle, and made eye contact the whole time I spoke instead of multitasking, which made me feel like he was listening to me instead of just waiting for me to stop talking. He explained everything so clearly, and didn’t brush off any of my concerns. He scheduled lab work same-day, and also helped set me up with a counselor for possible postpartum depression. I was embarrassed at first to being up mental health, but he made me feel safe and let me know that he can and will prescribe antidepressants if I need them and work with me to make sure I am doing okay. I would recommend him to anybody and everybody.

I saw Dr. Christopher Lillis after being discharged from the UC Davis Medical Center following spinal fusion surgery. Since my regular PCP was on leave, I appreciated the rapport that Dr. Lillis established in such a short time getting to know me. He was gracious as well as devoting time and attention to my concerns. He was also very thorough in reviewing my medical history and formulating next steps in treatment.

Dr. Lillis is OUTSTANDING in all aspects of the ratings. Sorry to see him leave!

This "doctor" has the bedside manner of a camel driver. He bragged about helping to write Obamacare (which we eventually learned from Gruber was full of lies and deceit), and once I criticized his diagnosis of my problem he arrogantly pointed to his diploma on the wall and shouted,"you see this? You don't have one of these!" I promptly told him what he could do with it and walked out.

Dr Lillis has been my physician since 2009. I like his practical approach to medical problems. His "less is more " approach to medical problems I find very refreshing, I recommend him w/o reservation.

I am old enough to have been treated by a fair number of physicians over the years but none has risen to the level of excellence of Dr. Lillis. I have found him, over the course of several visits, to be consistently patient, friendly and empathetic...and did I mention that he addresses you as if you have more than a modicum of intelligence. I recommend him without reservation - he is simply an outstanding physician.

Dr. Lillis, his nurse, Regina, and the office staff are great. I leave his office confidently feeling 'taken care of'. He asks me questions ...

I highly recommend Dr. Lillis. He listened to my concerns and acted like he had all the time in the world to answer my questions. Something other doctors do not seem to do. I have seen him several times now and intend to keep him as my primary doctor.
