Dr. Christopher Stephen Litts, MD

This doctor has no concern about his patients overall feelings. He believes everyone is out to have surgery for drugs. It doesn’t matter how much you hurt, he is after a good rating for giving no opioids!! He is number one at that but after surgery when your hand is swollen, throbbing and hurts like the dickens he is home having a nice dinner and thinking about anything other than you. Even when his assistant is removing stitches , and literally digging them out, he doesn’t even allow a little spray freeze to help ease the pain. I messed up not getting more information on him. I ask about a prescription before surgery and I was told nurse at hospital would give it to me, little did I know it would be 18 hours worth of a low dose of nothing. Do your homework, ask questions, and when he tells you he didn’t go deep enough for pain medication, remember me. This man is like a iron wall, it just doesn’t care!!! I hope one day he has surgery and lays in the bed crying, hurting,… throbbing and his doctor says, oh it’s not bad. My hand is more black than blue, swollen like a ball, throbbing but he doesn’t feel the the pain. I am just asking if you care about your over all health please do your research on this man. Especially if he is working on your child.

I think he is a good surgeon but doctor NO. No compassion, no feelings for his patients!! It’s like he just wants to see how much pain he can deal out and you can’t do anything about it. Even after surgery with no pain medication to speak of he has his assistant dig out my stitches, what could have a little freeze spray cost him. I’ve wrote other reviews hope you see them. I would not let this man treat my dog after what I know now. There are plenty of surgeons I hope you read all reviews, they are true. His office personnel told me only mad patients write a review, I have to say I pretty much agree. I have plenty to be mad about. Tried to figure out how to post pictures so you know why I am so upset. Don’t take these reviews lightly or you will be sitting right here with me regretting your decision !! If I can figure out how to post pictures I will! Please do your research!!!!

Had 2 wrist surgeries with this quack in 2013. Found out in 2017 that he had diagnosed me on day 1 that my scaphoid tendon was broken. HE NEVER TOLD ME AND NEVER DID ANYTHING ABOUT IT !!! He accused me of "pill shopping".I had a lawyer pull my records from his office, and right there in paragraph 1 he wrote down about the broken tendon. I am now permanently disabled due to this guy. Only a few years to late to sue the guy. DO NOT USE THIS "SURGEON"

it's a waste of time going to this dr. he didn't explain my diagnosis. i was in and out of is clinic within 5 minutes and i am not exagerating. don't be fooled with his credentiails. he was never a patient oriented physician. i rated him 5 for ease of appointment bec he has no patient to deal with except me. 5 for promptness too for the same reason.

I took my dog to the vet last month for some minor surgery. The next day the Vet called to see how spanky was doing. I took wife to Dr Litts for surgery. The next day he was no where to be found. I guess I should have taken my wife to the vet

This Doctor/Surgeon was so helpful. I had a snowboarding accident and ruptured my triceps. I was pretty frightened plus I've never experienced anything like this before. He explained everything eased my concerns now im happy to say after my surgery and a long healing process ill be active once again.. Dr. Litts I cant thank you enough

What a fantastic Doc...I had a wrist surgery in 2005, I was very nervous. He took me to meet one of his patients who had the same surgery with excellent results. I had excellent results as well. I highly recommend this doc as he was pleasant, reassuring and skilled.

He's patient with people such as myself who has a tendency to have white coat syndrome. He is extremely pleasant and curteous. He has a great sense of humor to make you feel at ease. He has great credentials. I love the staff he has and would recommend him to anyone. And ladies, if I may say so, not bad to look at either

I came to Dr. Litts after dealing with local doctors for approx 15 years who kept telling me I had tendonitis. After 1 hour with Dr. Litts he found tumors inside the joint in my wrist that had basically eaten away the bone marrow. The tumors therefore took the place of the bone marrow. After traveling once a week for 3 months, 3 surgeries, and 8 months of physical therapy I have use of my hand with out pain. I am limited as to what I can to being that he removed the joint in my wrist so I can not move my hand like before but without him I would still be in pain and it has been almost 6 years since my surgery. The same issue may be affecting my other hand and I would go back to him in an instant when it is necessary. At my final visit he told me my hand should be pain free for at least 12 years. That is good in my book.

I saw Dr. Litts several times and was misdiagnosed. I received second and third opinions from orthopedists at other top academic medical centers about this diagnosis, and the latter two concurred that Dr. Litts was essentially off the wall in thinking what he was thinking. Additionally, Dr. Litts was rude and condescending when I tactfully questioned his diagnosis, and I am glad I trusted my gut with this guy. I saw him enough times to realize that he wasn't just having a bad day. In sum, don't let this guy touch you.
