Dr. White’s 5 star rating and reviews assured me that his medical skills as a surgeon were 2nd to none, but it was his empathy, compassion and willingness to listen to the patient, or the voice for his patient that is unique and so very special. He lays it on the line and doesn’t sugar coat it, but you know where everything stands at all times. His concern for my mothers inability to give permission for surgery obviously weighed heavy on him and assured me (once again) that his ethics and moral compass were above reproach. Although the odds were against Mama making it through surgery, with Dr. White’s expertise and the genuinely caring staff at McLeod, she’s now recovering. What a gift....

About 6 months ago God had us brought to this Dr. White because my husband was literally on his death bed and there were no beds available that nite he needed ICU. Brought to Florence regional it was there we met Dr White and nurse Jen. Had a visit with him today to see if he could make an appointment to take my husband tube out. He replied I can do it right here today and even take his port out also. His nurse Jen looked at his schedule and even as busy as his office was he and Jen fit us in. If anyone is going to consider surgery, to and see this Dr. So knowledgeable, kind, caring and compassionate and his nurse Jen we feel the same about. Thank you both.

Dr. White has performed two emergency surgeries on me in the passed two years. The last surgery was a matter of life and death, because it was very rare, with his quick thinking and his surgical skills he saved my life. He is the most caring doctor and very personal of all your questions not only for you as a patient but for your family also, He made sure they were completely informed of the situation. He not only takes care of your physical needs but emotional needs. I am truly thankful for Dr. White and his team for providing me the best healthcare. BJG

I was referred to Dr. White by my PCP last year . He has performed two surgeries on me within the last year. I have been completely satisfied with him . He is very pleasant and also very thorough in explaining and answering any questions I have had, but most importantly, his surgical skills are very good. May I add that his staff has been so very kind and efficient.

Dr. White is fantastic and don't forget Jennifer. My Experience was a great one, treated like I was family. Dr. White took the time to address all questions and concerns. Jennifer was just as competent. Dr. White has been recommended to others that may need surgery. I felt that his concern was me. My recovery was in itself amazing . Would and have recommended Dr. White and Nurse Jennifer to anyone. Major surgery and I only had to take 6 or 8 pain tablets. All I can say is Thank God for Dr. White . GREAT JOB

DR. WHITE IS AN AWESOME DOCTOR. HE MADE ME FEEL GOOD ABOUT WHAT HE HAD TO DO. WHEN I SAID THAT I REALLY DIDN'T WANT MY SURGERY HE TOLD ME WHAT THE PRO'S AND CON'S WERE IF I DIDN'T HAVE IT. SO I PRAYED ABOUT IT. AND THEN I WENT TO HIM AND HIS AWESOME TEAM AN SAID OKAY I'LL HAVE THE SURGERY. AND NOW AM SO VERY GLAD THAT I REALLY DID. Dr White and his team (Jennifer and Crystal) provided me with an exceptional health care experience. They were professional and understanding of my needs as a patient.
