This is my second consultation with Dr. Lucas for surgery. My first surgery was for my gall blader and now for an aneurism. He is down to earth, on point, no nonsense and very thorough and comforting. The Staff are professional and friendly. They make the visit to the office go smoothly and comfortable.

He was very blunt and requested further test that was set up in office. I love blunt to the point. No sugar coating kind of Dr. So I thought my visit was so far so good. Staff was awesome.

I had a non emergency gall bladder removal. I read the bad reviews before i had my surgery, I was so nervous. Despite the bad, Dr lucas did a GREAT JOB! little to no bruising and only pained for about 1 day after surgery.

I was referred to Dr. Lucas for painful varicose veins. He spent less than 5 minutes with me. He did not introduce himself or shake my hand. He actually opened with "You're too young for varicose veins. Why are you here?" He then did a less than 1 minute examination and discovered that I did in fact have varicose veins. He told me since I'm so young we will just wait for them to get worse. Total waste of time as I'm still in pain with no education or insight as to how to alleviate the discomfort.

Had my gall bladder removed by Dr.Lucas a couple of months ago. While doing the gall bladder surgery he also done a liver biopsy at this time that he said was needed as my liver "did not look right".I have blood work done every 3 months and nothing to show that there was a problem with my liver. But her done the biopsy while I was out. SO no big deal. WRONG.. go back for my follow up and results of biopsy. Gall badder part looked good, he said. BUT the liver not so good. He said" you have hepatitis A ,B, & C. And will need to see a specialist for this.I was not to concerned until I got home and started reading what Hep C can do to you..even cause DEATH. Lucky for me I told him I would let my Dr.find a spaciest and requested that all my lab work be sent to my dr.Well when my dr. got the lab work (it took 3 request to get this done)well when my dr.did get the reports there was NO HEP A ,B or C after I have already started the very painful shots for A & B. But went on at my dr, suggestion… to see a specialist and more test and more test..and NO hep. C!!! I have been worried to death about this for weeks none!! Just because DR. LUCAS cannot read I Guess. Or just pulls things out of the blue.. NEVER EVER WOULD I RECOMMEND HIM FOR ANYTHING!!
